If you are just checking into my blog for the first time, thanks for visiting!

Just to catch you up to speed with me, I've been traveling for almost 8 months now but I haven't seen my daughter in almost 10 months! I finally arrived in Florida and got reunited with my Princess, I missed her so much!

I have almost two weeks to spend with her before I'm off traveling again for my OCRTUBE media project, so the next few days are focused on her, as well as doing some online work in between. This past weekend was spent in Safety Harbor, FL with her, and I also had the opportunity to meet her boyfriend. Pretty nice guy, and I like the fact that he likes to stay active.

I suggested that they do a workout with me over the weekend, and without any hesitation, they said yes. I was pretty excited as I have been slacking with my workouts, so I felt that this would help me stay on track. It so happens that`my daughter also kinda fell off the wagon, so it really was a win for all of us!

Killed it.....more like, KILLED US lol

Running with the Pagoda Pacers - Reading, Pennsylvania

Pagoda Pacers Athletic Club, Running with the Pagoda Pacers, Group Run in Reading Pennsylvania, Insanity Max 30, Max Out Strength Workout, Free Beachbody Coaching, Group Trail Running in Pennsylvania, Running up the Reading Pagoda

When I travel, one of the most challenging things for me is to be consistent with my workouts, so what I enjoy doing is looking for free workouts and group runs. I am currently in Reading, PA in between filming obstacle course races for my OCRTUBE media project, so during the week, I try to either do my P90X workouts at the park, or wherever I am staying at, but sometimes I like to change things up a bit. Do you feel me? =)

GOOGLE is your friend!

I went online and searched for running groups and I ran into the Pagoda Pacers website. This group has been around for about 37 years now, and have well over 500 members. They are basically one of the oldest running groups in Pennsylvania. The Pagoda Pacers group organize group runs, bike rides and special events. Most of the group runs are on trails which I very much enjoy. Yesterday I went on my first run with them at Shilington Park, Shilington PA. It was nice and hilly and the terrain was a mixture of trails and roads. The cool thing about the trail runs is that it changes every week, so you will never get bored. They meet every Wednesday night at 6:15pm. Check them out here!

THAT WAS MY 2ND WORKOUT

Earlier in the day before the group run, I did my normal Beachbody workout which I decided to do Max Out Strength from the Insanity Max 30 workout program. And with Shaun T fashion, I got my ass handed to me =)

Here's a quick clip of my workout!

T25 Total Body Circuit + Max 30 Abs Attack Workout

Day 2 Week Six 22 minute Hard Corps Challenge, T25 Total Body Circuit Workout, Insanity Max 30 Ab Attack Workout, Pensacola Fit Club, Beachbody Fitness Motivation
Watch Video Below

So my Dad and I decided to replace our 22 Minute Hard Corps Workout today with T25 Total Body Circuit and Max 30 Abs Attack.

Today's workout was supposed to be Cardio 2 + Core 2, but since the workout at Pensacola Fit Club was very similar, and about 3 minutes longer, it would be like doing our 22 Minute Hard Corps workout  =). I don't normally replace workouts during a challenge, and I don't really recommend it, but if the workouts are fairly the same, especially if they are Beachbody workouts (my preference), then I would say that it's ok. You do what you feel is right for you. As for me, as long as the intensity factor is the same, and it is not a recurring thing, then doing it once or twice during a challenge won't hurt anything.

Insanity Max 30 - MAX OUT SWEAT Workout

Insanity Max 30 - Max Out Sweat Workout - Insanity Max 30 Challenge Group
Max Out Sweat (Watch Video below)

Max Out Sweat is by far one of the hardest, if not the hardest workout of the Insanity Max 30 program. I wouldn't say that the exercises are really tough, but it's the combination of them along with the short amount of breaks that make it a beast! Although I have made it all the way to 30:00, it was because I modified a few of the exercises.

Using modifications is nothing to be ashamed of, it's honestly a way to play it safe and prevent injury. The key to the Max 30 Workouts is to find your MAX by going as hard as you can until you can't go any further. What I normally do with Insanity Max 30 workouts, is I go hard, and then when I am about to max out, I begin using modifications, but sometimes I can't even do that =) The most important thing about these workouts is to listen to your body because this program is very high impact unless you are using the modifications, and your goal is not to use them unless you really need to. And if you are using modifications during 50% of the workout, then in my opinion, this workout is not for you, it would best to find a workout that suits your level of fitness. But again, that's just me.

Max Out Sweat is more of a cardio-based workout that will definitely make you sweat! Most of the strength-based Max 30 workouts are on Tuesday and Thursdays with Fridays being a combination of everything. If you're going all the way to 30:00 during Max Out Sweat, then you're probably not working hard enough. If you make it to 30:00 while using modifications, then your goal is to use less every time, and keep the same max out time. Change happens when you push yourself. Change happens when you challenge yourself, so make it challenging, and you will see better results.

Insanity MAX 30 - MAX OUT CARDIO Workout

Insanity Max 30 - Max Out Cardio Workout - Max 30 Download Sheets
Insanity Max 30 - Max Out Cardio Workout

This is where Insanity MAX 30 kicks it up a notch. I really enjoyed the MAX OUT CARDIO workout because it included some of the old school Insanity moves. Although I am not a fan of the "punching moves", I'm ok with it sometimes because they tend to be more of a recovery move which I am so happy when it does comes along. It's kinda like driving long distances on a boring interstate and praying for the next rest area, it's a blessing =). The main difference from the Cardio Challenge workout (month 1) and Max Out Cardio is that it is definitely more intense and has a "Power Move" at the end of each circuit.

Insanity Max 30 - Max Out Cardio - Insanity Max 30 Workout Sheets

I also felt that the Max Out Cardio workout was at a much faster pace than the Cardio Challenge from the first month. If you are reading this, and you are on your first month of your Insanity Max 30 Challenge, I would highly recommend that you try to really push yourself during the last two weeks of the first month to help with a smoother transition to the second month. If you are modifying the workouts more than 50% of the time during the first month, you may be up for a rude awakening when you hit month two. And when I say push yourself harder, I still mean to listen to your body, but do a little more everyday. Remember, it's really not about speed, it's more about proper form, and staying safe. Through time, you will begin to get stronger and the speed will come naturally.

Insanity Max 30 - SWEAT INTERVALS

Insanity Max 30 Sweat Intervals - Insanity Max 30 Challenge
Insanity Max 30 - Sweat Intervals (Outdoors)

So this was Day 3, Week 4 of my Insanity Max 30 Challenge. After doing an 8 mile trail run at the Wilderness Trail Park System I decided to go ahead and get my Max 30 Sweat Intervals workout done. With beautiful nature surrounding me, I felt that it was the perfect setting to do my workout. If you ever get a chance to take your workout outdoors, I would highly recommend it.

WATCH VIDEO BELOW

This was my fourth time doing this Max 30 Sweat Intervals workout, and it always kills my legs, but I've noticed that I've been gaining more strength in my lower body, as well as more defined muscles. I tend to have more interests with upper body workouts, and I guess that's why my upper body is much stronger, so this Max 30 program is really what I need to gain and maintain my leg strength for my long term goals as an Obstacle Course Racing Athlete, and avid trail runner.

I have to say that I am pretty excited about going into the second month of my Max 30 Challenge, but there is also a sense of nervousness too. Shaun T workouts are always a challenge for me, but I guess that's why I love them so much. If you like challenges, then you'll love Insanity Max 30.

Insanity Max 30 - Sweat Intervals (Day 3, Week 3)
Insanity Max 30 Sweat Intervals - Insanity Max 30 Challenge

Here are the exercise movements. You can also watch my quick video below to help you learn how the exercises are performed. I modified a few exercises, and that's ok if you do too. Remember to always listen to your body, and don't focus on speed because proper form is much more important. Once your form gets better, you can then work on speed. Use the people on the videos for guidance, but never let them intimidate you. They all started somewhere, just like we all have to start somewhere. Go at your own pace, and just have fun! =)

Insanity Max 30 Tabata Strength - Tabata Workout - Tabata Training
Insanity Max 30 - Tabata Strength Workout

I just finished Week 3 of my Insanity MAX 30 Challenge, and so far I would have to say that Tabata Strength is my favorite so far. I've been loving the whole program, and my legs seem to be getting much stronger which is what I need for my obstacle course racing events. I enjoyed Tabata Strength because of the upper body exercises which is my strongest.

During Day 4, Week 3 of my Max 30 Challenge that I've been hosting with my Online Challengers, I decided to do my Tabata Strength workout at Curtis Hixon Park which is a beautiful park overlooking the historic University of Tampa. The weather was perfect, and I had good company as well. That's what I love about Beachbody Fitness, you can take it anywhere, and with Beachbody on Demand, it's just going to get even better.

TABATA POWER Workout - Insanity MAX 30

Tabata Power - Insanity Max 30 - Tabata Training
Tabata Power - Insanity Max 30

So what is Tabata? The Tabata Workout is "High Intensity Interval Training" (H.I.I.T Training) which is structured to working out hard for 20 minutes, and resting for 10 seconds for 6-8 rounds.  There are no weights in Tabata Power - Insanity Max 30, your weight is your body, and trust me, you will be begging for mercy.

I really enjoy this workout, and my leg strength has definitely increased. As an obstacle course racing athlete, leg strength is very important. Although Insanity Max 30 workouts do not use weights, I do incorporate some P90X and Body Beast Strength workouts because I enjoy lifting and working out with weights. This all depends on your goals.

Tabata Power - Insanity Max 30 - Tabata Training

As with all Shaun T workouts, Tabata Power is just insane, but thank goodness for the full-time modifier, anyone can do this and get through it. I made it all the way to the end, but I had to modify a couple times. As with any workout, always listen to your body and make sure that you are using proper form. It's not about how fast you go, it's about doing your best, and powering through with good form. Feel free to post your MAX OUT times in the comment section, and if you would like to join any of my upcoming MAX 30 Challenge Groups, feel free to message me, I have challenges beginning every week!

Insanity MAX 30 - Friday Fight Round 1

Insanity Max 30 - Friday Fight Round 1 Workout
Insanity Max 30 - Friday Fight Round 1

I did a sneak peek into the Insanity Max 30 Friday Fight Round 1 Workout, and I would have to say that you really have to be humble coming into this workout. I have done all of the P90X and Insanity Extreme Programs, and the thing about Shaun T, he continues to push you to the limits, and I absolutely love it. When Shaun T said he was back, he wasn't playing! =)

My overall experience on this workout was that is more focused on legs and core. There were some upper body and shoulder focused movements, but I found that my legs were the primary target. Once I did all the cardio and leg based movements, I felt pretty beat by the time I got to the upper body movements. Yes, you can pace yourself until you reach the end of the workout, but that's not what Insanity Max 30 Workouts is all about. It's about finding your MAX, pushing yourself to the limits (with proper form of course), then trying to beat that #maxout time. The more you push yourself and surpass your max out times, the better results that you will get. I felt pretty good doing this workout for the first time, and I maxed out at 17:50. Looking forward to continue increasing that time =).

Everything About Insanity Max 30:

-  Insanity Max 30 is not crazier than Insanity Asylum
-  There is a Low Impact Modifier which will be viewable for the entire workout
-  Insanity Max 30 is more intense than Insanity because workouts are condensed to only 30 minutes
-  Insanity Max 30 uses Tabata Training for the power and strength workouts
-  No equipment required, just your body
-  Similar to HIIT Training, Tabata Training with Max 30 is 20 seconds on, 10 seconds off, 8 rounds, with drop sets using your own body (month 1 - Tabata Power and Strength) and 45 seconds on, 15 seconds off, 6 rounds (month 2 - Max Out Power and Strength)
-  Insanity Max 30 is 60 days, no recovery week (2 days off per week)
-  Insanity Max 30 has a Fit Test every day (workout days)
-  Month 1 and 2 both include 5 DVD's
-  Maxing out: It's not about finishing the 30 minutes, it's about going to your max and listening to your body, that's where the results come. It's about your "personal best".
Insanity Max 30 is for all fitness levels
-  What makes Max 30 different: Extreme 30 Minute Workouts, 150 New Moves, Max Out Training, Low Impact Modifier
-  Insanity Max 30 Intervals are different from Insanity:  it's 3 moves, 30 seconds each, 3 rounds, each circuit is 4 1/2 minutes. In month 2, it's 5 1/2 minutes which includes a "power round"
-  Insanity Max 30 is also focused on "recovery time"
-  Insanity Max 30 is 100% mindset
-  Some of Shaun T's own favorite new Max 30 moves include: Burpee Lunges and the Rope Climb (an ab exercise)
-  Maxing out is also possible by using the low impact modifications, it's based on your fitness capability, and body control while using proper form. The bigger the range of motion, the bigger the results!
-  Insanity Max 30 is perfect for Fit Clubs
-  Insanity Max 30 is for anyone who wants to take their body to PEAK physical condition
-  Shaun T says Max 30 is for those who: want to achieve their personal best, are short on time, don't want to use any equipment, wants a flexible eating plan, are at any fitness level

Insanity Max 30 Test Group Results
Coach Arnel's Insanity MAX 30 Test Group

I am so EXCITED for Shaun T's newest program, Insanity MAX 30. I don't really want to go into what the program is all about, but you can read my blog post on this here.

What is an Insanity MAX 30 Test Group?
It's quite simple actually. It's where a group gets together online (via an exclusive facebook group) and starts a health and fitness program "together" from the comfort of their own home or gym to keep each other accountable, and motivated. The test group is focused not on just fitness goals, but also life goals. The test group will be geared towards helping participants learn how to turn health and fitness into a lifestyle, get the BEST results, learn about clean eating, whilst meeting like-minded people just like you! Free Online Coaching (24/7) is provided by me.

Insanity MAX 30 - Find Your Max!

How Does It Work?
It’s time to max out your workouts! What does the heck does that mean? To “MAX OUT” means to stop or fail for the first time in the workout. In INSANITY MAX:30, it's not about getting through all 30 minutes, it's about going as hard as you can for as long as you can, until you MAX OUT. When you start INSANITY MAX:30, you might only get through the first 5 minutes before you MAX OUT. Just record your MAX OUT time, catch your breath, and continue for as long as you can. Track your MAX OUT times over the course of the program. As long as you MAX OUT, you'll get MAX RESULTS in 60 days guaranteed!
