Insanity MAX 30 - Friday Fight ROUND 2

Insanity Max 30 Friday Fight Round 2 - Insanity Max 30 Workout
Insanity Max 30 - Friday Fight Round 2

Hailed to Shaun T as one of the "hardest workouts that he's ever created", there is no doubt that Max 30 Friday Fight Round 2 is tough. But it's not really that the movements that are difficult, it's the fact that each movement is ONE MINUTE LONG, so if you are going hard, it will be pretty easy to MAX OUT early on unless you are pacing yourself.

I am so happy that I finally graduated from Insanity MAX 30! 60 days of brutality from Shaun T ha ha =) But I feel so much stronger, leaner, and glad to say that I have another Beachbody Elite Program under my belt! That's what I love about Beachbody, they are always coming out with different programs, so you will never get bored. It's not about the 21/60/90 day program, it's truly about making it a lifestyle.

This workout is of course 30 minutes long which includes a warm up, 3 rounds, and a cool down. Get ready for a fast-paced workout, and keep your E&E (Energy and Endurance Pre-Workout) on hand!

Here's the Max 30 Friday Fight Round 2 Movement List:

Insanity Max 30 - MAX OUT SWEAT Workout

Insanity Max 30 - Max Out Sweat Workout - Insanity Max 30 Challenge Group
Max Out Sweat (Watch Video below)

Max Out Sweat is by far one of the hardest, if not the hardest workout of the Insanity Max 30 program. I wouldn't say that the exercises are really tough, but it's the combination of them along with the short amount of breaks that make it a beast! Although I have made it all the way to 30:00, it was because I modified a few of the exercises.

Using modifications is nothing to be ashamed of, it's honestly a way to play it safe and prevent injury. The key to the Max 30 Workouts is to find your MAX by going as hard as you can until you can't go any further. What I normally do with Insanity Max 30 workouts, is I go hard, and then when I am about to max out, I begin using modifications, but sometimes I can't even do that =) The most important thing about these workouts is to listen to your body because this program is very high impact unless you are using the modifications, and your goal is not to use them unless you really need to. And if you are using modifications during 50% of the workout, then in my opinion, this workout is not for you, it would best to find a workout that suits your level of fitness. But again, that's just me.

Max Out Sweat is more of a cardio-based workout that will definitely make you sweat! Most of the strength-based Max 30 workouts are on Tuesday and Thursdays with Fridays being a combination of everything. If you're going all the way to 30:00 during Max Out Sweat, then you're probably not working hard enough. If you make it to 30:00 while using modifications, then your goal is to use less every time, and keep the same max out time. Change happens when you push yourself. Change happens when you challenge yourself, so make it challenging, and you will see better results.

Insanity Max 30 - SWEAT INTERVALS

Insanity Max 30 Sweat Intervals - Insanity Max 30 Challenge
Insanity Max 30 - Sweat Intervals (Outdoors)

So this was Day 3, Week 4 of my Insanity Max 30 Challenge. After doing an 8 mile trail run at the Wilderness Trail Park System I decided to go ahead and get my Max 30 Sweat Intervals workout done. With beautiful nature surrounding me, I felt that it was the perfect setting to do my workout. If you ever get a chance to take your workout outdoors, I would highly recommend it.

WATCH VIDEO BELOW

This was my fourth time doing this Max 30 Sweat Intervals workout, and it always kills my legs, but I've noticed that I've been gaining more strength in my lower body, as well as more defined muscles. I tend to have more interests with upper body workouts, and I guess that's why my upper body is much stronger, so this Max 30 program is really what I need to gain and maintain my leg strength for my long term goals as an Obstacle Course Racing Athlete, and avid trail runner.

I have to say that I am pretty excited about going into the second month of my Max 30 Challenge, but there is also a sense of nervousness too. Shaun T workouts are always a challenge for me, but I guess that's why I love them so much. If you like challenges, then you'll love Insanity Max 30.

Insanity Max 30 - Sweat Intervals (Day 3, Week 3)

Here are the exercise movements. You can also watch my quick video below to help you learn how the exercises are performed. I modified a few exercises, and that's ok if you do too. Remember to always listen to your body, and don't focus on speed because proper form is much more important. Once your form gets better, you can then work on speed. Use the people on the videos for guidance, but never let them intimidate you. They all started somewhere, just like we all have to start somewhere. Go at your own pace, and just have fun! =)

Insanity Max 30 Tabata Strength - Tabata Workout - Tabata Training
Insanity Max 30 - Tabata Strength Workout

I just finished Week 3 of my Insanity MAX 30 Challenge, and so far I would have to say that Tabata Strength is my favorite so far. I've been loving the whole program, and my legs seem to be getting much stronger which is what I need for my obstacle course racing events. I enjoyed Tabata Strength because of the upper body exercises which is my strongest.

During Day 4, Week 3 of my Max 30 Challenge that I've been hosting with my Online Challengers, I decided to do my Tabata Strength workout at Curtis Hixon Park which is a beautiful park overlooking the historic University of Tampa. The weather was perfect, and I had good company as well. That's what I love about Beachbody Fitness, you can take it anywhere, and with Beachbody on Demand, it's just going to get even better.

TABATA POWER Workout - Insanity MAX 30

Tabata Power - Insanity Max 30 - Tabata Training
Tabata Power - Insanity Max 30

So what is Tabata? The Tabata Workout is "High Intensity Interval Training" (H.I.I.T Training) which is structured to working out hard for 20 minutes, and resting for 10 seconds for 6-8 rounds.  There are no weights in Tabata Power - Insanity Max 30, your weight is your body, and trust me, you will be begging for mercy.

I really enjoy this workout, and my leg strength has definitely increased. As an obstacle course racing athlete, leg strength is very important. Although Insanity Max 30 workouts do not use weights, I do incorporate some P90X and Body Beast Strength workouts because I enjoy lifting and working out with weights. This all depends on your goals.

Tabata Training - Insanity Max 30
Tabata Power - Insanity Max 30 - Tabata Training

As with all Shaun T workouts, Tabata Power is just insane, but thank goodness for the full-time modifier, anyone can do this and get through it. I made it all the way to the end, but I had to modify a couple times. As with any workout, always listen to your body and make sure that you are using proper form. It's not about how fast you go, it's about doing your best, and powering through with good form. Feel free to post your MAX OUT times in the comment section, and if you would like to join any of my upcoming MAX 30 Challenge Groups, feel free to message me, I have challenges beginning every week!

Stay active my friends =)

Insanity MAX 30 - Friday Fight Round 1

Insanity Max 30 - Friday Fight Round 1 Workout
Insanity Max 30 - Friday Fight Round 1

I did a sneak peek into the Insanity Max 30 Friday Fight Round 1 Workout, and I would have to say that you really have to be humble coming into this workout. I have done all of the P90X and Insanity Extreme Programs, and the thing about Shaun T, he continues to push you to the limits, and I absolutely love it. When Shaun T said he was back, he wasn't playing! =)

My overall experience on this workout was that is more focused on legs and core. There were some upper body and shoulder focused movements, but I found that my legs were the primary target. Once I did all the cardio and leg based movements, I felt pretty beat by the time I got to the upper body movements. Yes, you can pace yourself until you reach the end of the workout, but that's not what Insanity Max 30 Workouts is all about. It's about finding your MAX, pushing yourself to the limits (with proper form of course), then trying to beat that #maxout time. The more you push yourself and surpass your max out times, the better results that you will get. I felt pretty good doing this workout for the first time, and I maxed out at 17:50. Looking forward to continue increasing that time =).
