My Top 7 Single Guy Tips for Staying Happy

Single Guy Tips, Single Life Tips, Single Men Tips, Being Single and Happy, Happy Tips for Single Guys

Just for the record, I am not an expert on this topic, I merely would like to give you tips that have worked for me, as well as for some of my friends who are living the single life by choice. What I mean "by choice", this simply means not relying on another person to make me or my single friends happy, and truly understanding that in order to be happy, again in my opinion...one must learn how to create happiness within themselves first.

SO LET'S DIG IN SHALL WE!

1.  Read Books - Now I know that this may seem unusual for some of you, and trust me when I say this, I was not the type of person that enjoyed reading as a child, but from my experience, this is something that always kept me busy, meaning it kept my mind occupied and at the same time, I was able to gain knowledge that help me towards my future projects and social skills. I do recommend only reading books that interest you, and believe me, you will know which books are for you or not. Start with 10 minutes or 10 pages a day, and then eventually one book a month =)

2.  Exercise - You're like, "I know this already", and I bet you do, but most people don't do what they already know which is why most single men are not happy. We all know what we have to do, but are we doing these things? From the beginning, I was always a self-motivated person, especially if I have a goal set, but if you are the type of guy that needs constant motivation, or you easily get bored, I would encourage you to find a workout partner, or join a gym. Unlike me, some people need that social environment to workout, and that's okay, just as long as you are working out and being active. There are a lot of free group fitness classes from Crossfit, to P90X, to Dance and even obstacle race training if that's what you're into. Just like reading, exercise will keep your mind occupied and also get you in shape and looking good just in case you end up finding your soul mate.

3.  Find a Hobby - I know that sometimes we get all wrapped up into work and business that we forget about the things that we really love doing. Finding a hobby and doing this every week is something that always helped me get my mind off of the fact that I was single =). As long as your hobby isn't taking over your life or your business, and affecting your work life, then I highly recommend being consistent with it. Sometimes we get bored too, I know, so this is when it might be a good idea to bring  some friends into the mix, or find online groups or meet ups to mingle with others who have the same interests as you.

4.  Socialize - Now I wouldn't get too crazy with this one! I think the last thing that any single guy who is trying to be happy should be doing is bar hopping and "pretending" they are happy. Social drinks are always ok in my book, but once you get to the point where you feel that alcohol and drugs is the only way to make you feel happy, you will end up making it worse, and trust me......you will never achieve your goal of happiness as a single guy by going that route. I enjoy occasional drinks especially when I am traveling to different countries, and celebrating success of any kind with some adult beverages is awesome, but once it gets addictive, it will be much more difficult to become truly happy. If you think that you are not fun without alcohol, then maybe you need to find some new friends, just saying =)

5.  Eat Healthier - I found that the more crap that I put into my body, the more I felt like crap. Once I began to eat healthier along with daily exercise, something magical happened, I just organically started feeling better and really appreciating things a lot more. Of course if you are not used to eating healthy, it may take some time to adjust and learn, just like any change of lifestyle, it will be tough, but ask yourself this question, "how important is it for you to be happy?" Eating healthy helped me learn to be more creative, and what I mean by this, I had to learn how to budget more, and learn how to make certain ingredients taste good. Once my body adjusted, it was like a whole new world. There are a ton of clean eating and fitness groups to join to help you get started, that's what I did. I know that there are a lot of diet plans and nutrition information out there to easily get you overwhelmed, I recommend starting off by cutting down on your fat and sugar intake, and just take it from there.

6.  Travel - I cannot begin to tell you what independent solo travel has done for me! I think I have learned 100X more by traveling over all of my years in public and financial education institutions. I learned so much about who I am, my talents, and what I am capable of just by traveling and exploring on my own. So many people think that solo travel is scary and boring, but let me tell you from my experience that the people that you meet will be some of your closest friends. I have met so many people from different parts of the world that I can literally call this planet my home. Now I know that solo travel is not for everyone, but how will you know if you don't give it a try?

7.  Start a Business on the Side - I know what you're thinking, "I don't have the money to start a business!!!", well I'm here to tell you that you're wrong. 7 years ago, I started my business with only a $40 investment, and at the time, I only had maybe less than $50 in my bank account. Starting a business can be scary, but it can also be a fun way for you to turn your hobby into a paycheck. Creating an extra income on the side is a lot easier than most people think because get this,  you are in total control of the time that you spend building it. I remember working 3 jobs and starting my online business, I would go on my bathroom breaks and do email follow ups. If I only had 10 minutes to work my business, I simply took full advantage of those 10 minutes. For me, being happy has to do a lot about living life on my own terms. Some people can work a job for 40+ years, I just wasn't that type of person. If you're reading this, just know that you can do more than you think, and starting a small business is VERY possible, you just have to stretch your mind just a bit more. As with all of the above, starting a business will keep your mind sharp and active, and you never know, you may find that special someone.

------------------------------------------------------------------

So I hope that some of my tips will help some of you. And technically, I guess these tips could also work for some females, so feel free to soak it in girls =). And again, although I am not an expert by any means, and I am still single as I am writing this post, I will have you know that I am super happy and living my life! Yes, I do have my bad days, but the key is to try to stay consistent with the things that I mentioned above, along with surrounding yourself with positive and uplifting people.

There is nothing wrong with the single life. Whether you are single or taken, we are all still human, and it is up to us to create happiness, no one will do this for us, NOT EVEN A SOUL MATE. So go out and live your life!

Hiking Camelback Mountain - Phoenix, Arizona

Hiking Camelback Mountain, Echo Canyon Trail, Cholla Trail Camelback, Hiking Phoenix Arizona
Watch Video Below

So Camelback Mountain in Phoenix AZ was such an amazing hike. I met up with some friends who live in the Tempe area and they were pretty much my mountain tour guides for the day =)

The one thing about Camelback is that even though it is considered a very difficult double black diamond trail, there is a lot of foot traffic, especially on the weekends. If you don't like a lot of crowds, it might be best to hike it during the week.

The route that we took was going up the Echo Canyon Trail to the top, and down the Cholla Trail. And for some reason we still had enough energy to do it again, so we went up Cholla then back down the Echo Canyon Trail which totaled about 5.5 miles. Most people go up the Echo Canyon Trail and back down.

(Free 14 Day Trial of Beachbody on Demand)

I highly recommend that you try to get there as early as you can because the parking at the trail head is very limited. I had to actually circle the neighborhood for about 10 minutes before a parking spot was available. Here is the address to the Echo Canyon Trailhead:

Aspiring Entrepreneurs Wanted

Aspiring Entrepreneurs Wanted, Become an Entrepreneur, Entrepreneur Tips, Start an Online Business Today, Digital Nomad Opportunity, Entrepreneur Opportunity

Before I get into this post, I just wanted to share this one point. As an Entrepreneur, I firmly believe that anyone who is thinking about being in business for themselves must be open-minded. Forget about what you know now, and start new. What you've always known in the past has changed, and will continue to evolve, the question is....will you?

ASPIRING

What does this mean? It's about having ambitions to achieve something great!

I am looking for people who aspire to do great things. With that, it will take courage, determination, commitment, persistence, and making goals non-negotiable. If you are someone like that, then please continue to read, if not, go back to your life, this is not for you.

ENTREPRENUER

What do you think about when you think of the word "entrepreneur?" According to the dictionary, an entrepreneur is a person who organizes and operates a business or businesses, taking on a greater than normal financial risk in order to do so.

So secondly, since you've made it this far, the next question is, are you willing to take risks? Are you willing to make a financial and time investment to create an empire? If you are not willing to invest any money (we're not talking about thousands or millions here, so relax guys) or time into creating something that will leave a legacy for you, then I encourage you to discontinue reading. From here on out, I will be talking only to the serious people.

WANTED

And what I mean by this, I mean I will consider people based on their goals. As an entrepreneur, you have to be selective on who you partner or do business with. You must be selective in who you mentor, and share your ideas and secrets of success with. Am I successful? Depends on what you call success.

I don't have a job, haven't had one in almost 5 years. I travel around the world on my own terms and can spend time with my family any time that I want. My decisions are based on what I want, and not based on an employer. I have total control over my life, so does that make me successful? I guess so.

What does success mean to you?

If you are money-driven, you probably won't last long because what I will share with you is based on passion, what you truly want to do, and how you can turn that into a paycheck. Paychecks that you can only get by helping people. So if at this point you are not willing to help people on your path to success, then please discontinue reading, becoming an entrepreneur is definitely not for you.

Helping people regardless if you benefit or not is a SUCCESS trait, do you have it?
Aspiring Entrepreneurs Wanted, Become an Entrepreneur, Entrepreneur Tips, Start an Online Business Today, Digital Nomad Opportunity, Entrepreneur Opportunity

CONGRATULATIONS

Now that you aspire to be great, let's talk.

First of all, what I would like to do is introduce you to a financial vehicle that you can use to lead you on your path to success. This is the same vehicle that I started using about 7 years ago, and I still continue to use this today. With this opportunity, it will help you become more happy, healthy, and will teach you the basic steps to become a leader and entrepreneur. I am talking about an affiliation with a company where they will literally spend over $120 million on advertising dollars per year on your behalf, just to make your life easier.

It starts with learning the basics of networking, social media, the benefits of staying active, eating clean, and not caring about what people think. So if you can't handle the fact that not everyone will understand what you are doing, and that your friends might frown upon what you are doing, or the fact that your family might not even support you, then you might as well quit now.

Remember, you have gone this far, there are more obstacles to endure as an entrepreneur. Here's the bright side to this opportunity: if you work hard for 2-5 years, you won't have to work hard for the rest of your life. Now of course this is based on what you are willing to put in, and numbers are always different for many people, but in a nutshell, you have the opportunity to create an empire from the convenience of your own smartphone or laptop, with virtually no employees at all. I will never promise you success (that's your responsibility), I can only give you the very same tools that I have used, and help you on your journey, that I can promise you!

ARE YOU DOWN?

Again, I want to be honest with you. Becoming an entrepreneur is tough. If you are willing to take some hits from life, your friends, and even your family, then I would like to welcome you to a new world of opportunity. Most people will never see past their current lifestyle right now, it's only because they do no want to. So if you have read this far, then we should talk, because you are a rare breed.

YOUR NEXT STEP

Now this part is crucial, because a lot of people get to this point even though they were not qualified too, are you one of them? If you were just curious, but not really serious, please stop reading now, you are wasting your time.

But if you have read this far, and you think that you have what it takes to really make big things happen in your life, then your next step is to message me directly. And keep in mind, I am a very busy person. I'm not even sure where I will be when I respond back to you, so please do not waste my time, and I promise that I will not waste your time as well.

THE TIME IS NOW

So let's summarize everything.

You aspire to become in business for yourself. You understand that becoming an entrepreneur takes an investment of some of your hard earned cash, and of course your time. You understand the importance of being active and eating healthy, if not, you are willing to start. You understand that in order to become an entrepreneur, you have to be willing to help people. You understand that having an open-mind and not caring what others think is very crucial to your success. You understand that this is not an illegal business and it will take anywhere from 2-5 years to become successful depending on what your goals are. And lastly, you understand that I will respect your time just like I would encourage you to respect my time.

LET'S DO IT

I look forward to meeting you. Please email me here, and I will get back with you asap to set up a personal one on one free video call with you. I'm excited for you =)

WHY PEOPLE GIVE UP

Why People Give Up, Never Give Up, Never Give Up Tips, Top Ways Not To Give Up, Beachbody Coach Success, Beachbody Business Transformation, Filipino Beachbody Coach
You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with

If there is ONE THING that I know, it's that most of us humans would like to be more happy, healthy and successful in whatever we decide to do.

It really brings us back to our childhood when we were all so innocent. We didn't know anything about hardships, paying bills, relationships, negativity, jealousy etc. All we wanted to do was explore! If we wanted to do something, we would do it. As kids, we were very persistent. We didn't stop until we were able to walk, run, and cry until we ultimately got what we wanted. I remember as a child how much I loved Cocoa Puffs Cereal. My mom knew this, and she would hide the cereal and strategically slide it on the highest shelf in the kitchen, but I always found a way to get to it. It didn't matter if it was on top of the Empire State Building, I was going to get it!! I know all of you have a similar story on how you acheived some of the most impossible feats as a child. We just had NO FEAR!

AND THEN WE GREW UP

Or at least some of us did =). Growing up was tough! Our parents started trying to tell is what to do even though we already knew everything!! =) We couldn't get what we wanted anymore because our parents didn't have enough money, we had to start doing chores around the house, and school....we had to start a learning structure, people started trying to control us.

As we matured, we learned more about being hurt, relationships, jealousy amongst people we thought we were friends with. People started to lie to us, take advantage of us, make fun of us, and it just wasn't the world that we expected it to be. We started to grow up and learn about what life was really all about.

AND IT'S NOT ALL ABOUT SUNSHINE AND RAINBOWS

We learned about who our real and/or fake friends were. Sometimes the support from our family just became non-existent, or was never there to begin with. Our boss at work showed favoritism towards another employee, or your supervisor became an A-hole just because you were making more money then he or she was. Some of us unfortunately had to take on multiple jobs just to make ends meet, and even then, we couldn't pay our bills. For most of us, vacation time was just not part of the equation anymore. Happiness and relaxation just vanished like a fart in the wind!!

LIFE JUST BECAME TOUGH, so we just shut down and started to GIVE UP!

Some of us started setting goals based on the income that was currently coming in. We couldn't see passed our current situation, and for a lot of us, the question was, "why should we?"

You see, I'm no expert on this topic, but I'm sure that most of you would agree that LIFE just got in the way of everything. People just began to get bombarded with stress, and distractions from other people or things that really didn't matter. People stopped believing in themselves, and started listening to the negativity that was going on in their lives. It just became a world of SUCK!

The bottom line is that people quit because TIMES GOT TOUGH.

People quit because they listen to what others say, and not what's in their heart. People started to care about what others (people who had no bearing on your success) think, and not focus on who's putting the food on the table. People quit because they lack the income they deserve. People quit because they haven't found anything worth fighting for. And sometimes people quit because their decisions lead them to a life of drugs and alcohol.

I was a borderline alcoholic before starting my fitness journey back in 2010

I don't want to be the A-hole and be the one to say that GIVING UP is not going to make things better, so I'll just let you to ask yourself that question. Is it?

I have given up plenty of times in my life, so I am far from being perfect myself. But there comes a moment when enough is enough. When are you going to start LIVING YOUR LIFE? It took me many years to get out of a financial and mental rut. I know that many of you reading this right now may be going through a really tough time in your life right now, I understand. I've been there, and I still fight my daily battles. All I can say is that what you're going through doesn't have to be that way. It took a lot for me to come out of my hole and see the sunshine, but I somehow made it, and if you let me, I would like to share with you some of the things that helped me get through the tough times, and how that lead me to stop giving up on me.

Find someone or something that you will NEVER give up on!

My daughter is the most important person and the best thing that ever happened to me

This is how I learned HOW TO NOT GIVE UP:

- I started to workout and eat healthier on a budget because I had no money
- I started to surround myself with positive people who had vision and supported my goals
- I found my WHY. Someone or something that I would never give up on. She, my daughter was always more important than my struggles, and I made sure that she was in front of me every single day. When I wanted to quit, I would take my wallet out and look at a photo of my daughter as a reminder why I would never quit on her.
- I found an accountability partner that no matter what, would never let me quit. If I was upset, or didn't want to workout, my partner would simply kick my ass back in gear, we all need that.
- I wrote down my goals, and shared it with people. I even made a cheesy vision board which I was never a believer, until I saw it actually working and started checking things off my bucket list!
- I learned about time management. Time with family, time with business, time with myself, and time with God.
- I learned that travel was my escape. Find your passion that will help you become more creative in helping you reach your goals, not a passion that will distract you.

In my opinion, World Travel is the BEST investment in eduation

Preparing for my Overlanding Trip

Preparing for my Overlanding Trip, Minimalist Beachbody Coach, Off Road Camping Beachbody Coach, Beachbody coach Success, Full time Beachbody Coach, Overlander, Overlanding
But first.....spend time with my Princess!

It's so funny that I just now heard of the term "overlanding", which is word used to describe off-road camping. I've been doing this for years now, and are you telling me that it's cool now?? =) I thought it was pretty cool before! =)

I was introduced to this concept of "roughing it" when I started to travel a lot on the road to film various obstacle course racing events in North America. I was looking for the most economical way to travel without spending a lot of my hard earned cash on fancy hotels. I was at a race one weekend, and someone asked me where I was staying, and I told him that I'm not sure yet, I haven't booked anything, and he said why book when you have an SUV like what you have here?

I was like, sleep in my truck? Are you crazy!!!

The funny thing is that I couldn't find any accommodations that was within my budget, and that was near the event site, so I ended up sleeping in my truck that night.

I woke up and said, wow, that wasn't that bad, and I saved some money, now I can eat a steak ha ha!! From that point forward, I ended up getting more creative and learning about really using the resources that I had to save me the most money to take me to the next destination. I bought camping supplies, a cooler, some workout equipment, and I officially became an OVERLANDER! A minimalist now for almost 3 years, this way of travel was just right up my alley, and I loved it.

OVER TWO YEARS LATER

I'm still traveling the roads as a nomad, saving money, and enjoying the outdoors. My overland vehicle (which is a lender vehicle mind you) is not all decked out with a TEMPUI tent on the roof, but I am keeping things simple. I occasionally book rooms at budget hotels, hostels and Airbnb's when I need to get some work done with some fast internet, but you will mostly find me at camp sites.

The fact that I love working out with nature as well, just makes this lifestyle perfect for me. Thanks to my Beachbody on Demand Digital library, my gym comes with me everywhere!!

THE NEXT THREE MONTHS

I will be on the road starting from Florida (tomorrow), and heading to the west coast as far as California, and then up to Canada, and then back to Florida before heading to Asia mid-November. The plan is to visit various state and national parks during the week, and then work on film projects on the weekend. I will also be working my online coaching business because heck, without that, I would not be able to travel all the time =). Besides, being able to help people while I am going through my own life journey is priceless! I still can't believe that I help people get fit for a living by using my smartphone, it's so surreal!

Anyways, my trip begins tomorrow morning after I spend some quality time with my daughter today! She is still in class as I am writing this post =) I will also be stopping by north west Florida to see my parents for a day, but after that, the adventure begins, so excited!! =)

So if you see me on the road, camp site, working out, race event etc., feel free to hop on and hop off with me. Life is not so much about the places that you visit, but the people that you meet along the way.
