TOP 5 Reasons Why People Do Not LIKE or COMMENT on Your Facebook Posts

Top 5 Reasons Why People Do Not Like or Comment on Your Facebook Posts, Get more Facebook Likes, Beachbody Coach Motivation, Beachbody Coach Tips, Facebook Business Tips, Beachbody Coach Facebook Success
Having a beer in London, not caring if people LIKE my posts =)

Well, it's nothing new that Facebook is constantly changing their algorithms, so in return, your friends and followers are seeing much less of your content. Yeah, it's true...and one of the only ways to get the exposure that you had before is by placing ads and boosting posts =(. Hey, Facebook is a business, they need to make money just like you do! =)

As a business person, this kinda sucks, but as a non-business person (someone who doesn't rely or use Facebook for business) then I guess it shouldn't really matter unless you just like the attention =).

So here's the deal, I run a small internet company where I have a team of leaders who also their run own businesses. Some people call this franchising, and some call it direct-selling or network marketing. But who cares.....the point is that people in my line of work (and the general FB population) continue to complain about not getting enough LIKES and COMMENTS on their Facebook posts, so I just wanted to make a quick blog about "Why People Do Not LIKE or COMMENT on Facebook Posts".

Now just for the record, I'm no Social Media Expert, but I've learned a couple things, and this is what I've found to be pretty true.

TOP 5 Reasons Why People Do Not LIKE or COMMENT on Your Facebook Posts:

1.  THEY DIDN'T SEE YOUR POST - Yup, you know....facebook algorithms =)

2.  THEY ARE DISTRACTED WITH OTHER POSTS THAT INTEREST THEM - Look at that shiny object over there!! =)

3.  THEY ARE FRIENDS OF YOURS, OR FOLLOW YOU, BUT ARE ALSO SOMEWHAT JEALOUS OF YOU - These people just need to unfollow, unfriend, or just block you. They don't really like you, but for some odd reason, they still secretly want to stalk you =)

4.  THEY ARE WINDOW WATCHERS - You know, like channel surfing or going into your fridge every 5 minutes to see if there is anything new! #nope, just the same old stuff...oh wait, look..someone just bought a new house, I'm jelly!!! =)

5.  THEY DIDN'T LIKE YOUR POST - Do you post every little thing about your life? Are you trying to get attention? There are some posts that just need to be kept private, agree?? =) Oh, and people don't like to be sold, so try not to post things about products, or learn creative ways to share it with people!

Have you ever said something face to face to someone, and they said "no comment", well there you go....it happens on Facebook too =) Don't sweat it. You can't make everyone happy, and you shouldn't even bother.

My take on this whole thing:

Don't worry about people LIKING or COMMENTING on your posts. If you are worried about this issue, then you may have another issue that you might need to work on, just saying =) Yes, we as humans are all "reward-oriented" and we love to be recognized, but seriously guys....let's get back to our lives and just live a little. Try putting your phone or mobile device down for about 30 minutes a day. I'm sure that you will start appreciating life a lot more, and you'll LIKE not worrying about facebook =).

What's On My Facebook?

What's On My Facebook, Facebook Fitness, Using Facebook as a Beachbody Coach, Using Facebook for Business, Facebook organization

I've visited Boston a few times, and it is one of my all time FAVORITE historical cities to visit in the USA. Lot's of American Past-Times, and unless you were born under a rock, most of the world knows that FACEBOOK was founded just a hop, skip, and a jump away in neighboring Cambridge, MA at the prestigious Harvard University. What a brilliant dude, that Mark Zuckerburg!

Where Facebook was born

I took my family to Cambridge last year, and I gave them a little tour of the campus. Just walking around, and bumping into SMART ASS (no really, they're pretty smart ha ha) students, who some of them may one day create "million to billion dollar enterprises", it just mesmerizes me.

My family and I ate at Mr. Bartley's near Harvard Square, it's a cash-only local burger joint with entree names originating from unique Instagram hash tags, pretty cool! This place is definitely a "must-eat" place if you are taking a break from your health, nutrition and fitness regime =) That's why I was there, I was taking a break LOL.

Ok, I might've gone a little overboard on my burger =)

As my tattooed server whipped around the corner to serve me my big fat burger, I was already planning to take a photo to share on my Facebook. As I was trying to take this gastronomic photo of this MASSIVE creation of awesome sauce, I was also multi-tasking and being strategic on what my caption would be before actually posting it for the whole world to see! Wait a minute....should I even be sharing this on my Facebook timeline as a Beachbody Coach...I mean, aren't I an online fitness coach? Well, YES I AM =)

What might my friends and customers think of me? Will I be labeled as some sort of hypocrite for promoting a healthy and fit lifestyle, while posting a gigantic burger similar to the size of the TITANIC?!?!

Wait it minute, it's my Facebook page, and this is how I relate to people. I am not PERFECT, and neither do I represent myself as someone who doesn't make mistakes (or cheats on a meal every once in awhile). This is what I was thinking about when I was portraying myself as an iPhone Food-Spotting paparazzi guy, and asking THEE question......should I post this or not?

NEVER, NEVER POST NEGATIVITY, ONLY RELATABILITY

I can't really remember what I decided to do, but as someone who has built a small fitness-related internet company primarily through social media and Facebook, it's sometimes difficult to know what to post, and what not to post, all of this... from a business stand point, and protecting a brand.

If you do not own a business, then you probably won't even understand where I am coming from, let alone care about what I'm even talking about, and that's ok too =)  I mean, if I didn't have an online business, my Facebook page would probably be a lot more private and only open to close friends and family. It took me awhile to open my life with people online. I'm naturally a very private person, and I'm pretty sure that a lot of you could relate, BUT  "get this"... anyone who has a business, with the intentions of being successful, it is almost a requirement to incorporate Facebook/social media into everyday business marketing strategies. Am I right?

As I started learning more about social media, and the power behind running a business using Facebook, things began to open up for me, but now it was all about juggling groups, LIKE pages, and those annoying group chats, I absolutely hate those group chats, stop adding me please =).

GETTING TO THE POINT
Since building my brand as a Beachbody Coach and Online Entrepreneur, I have grown from managing my main profile page to multiple Facebook pages. It was MASS CONFUSION in the beginning because I didn't know where to post certain things, when to post, and how to post. Again, this is from a business standpoint with emphasis on building a brand built based on integrity, and long term success.

I have since been able to learn how to categorize my pages and target the posts to each specific niche. So right now, you're probably really confused, sorry about that, no not really sorry, I had to learn all of this too =)

BUT HERE'S WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT ON MY FACEBOOK:

- MAIN FACEBOOK PAGE, this is as personal as I get on social media. On my main profile page, I share the five things that I am very passionate about: family, fitness, entrepreneurship, obstacle racing, and travel. This is the BEST place to get to know me, other than coming to one of my family reunions or coach retreats. If you ever do come to one of those, I promise that you can try some of my parents authentic filipino cuisine, that's only if my Mom likes you =).

Within those 5 passions, I narrow it down even more to just Family, Beachbody health and fitness, and Travel.

- MAIN COACH PAGE, this is where I mostly share my health, fitness, and wealth-building related posts, as well as some motivational and inspirational quotes. If you want more of this type of content, I highly encourage you to follow my blog here since that is the main source for the shares on this page.

- OCRTUBE MEDIA PROJECT, this is about 100% obstacle course racing. This page is dedicated to my cause-related media project, making a difference, and also where I share other content from other reputable sources within the obstacle racing industry.

SO THERE YOU HAVE IT

If you connected with me for reasons such as P90X, Obstacle Racing, or Travel....then now you know where that content will be readily available. Either way, it's great to meet all of you, and hope to see you somewhere around the world!

10 Lifestyle Companies Who Inspire Me

Arnel Banawa
10 Lifestyle Companies Who Have Inspired Me

There are a lot of people who have inspired me, but there are only a few companies that have actually made a huge impact in my life. These companies have challenged me, helped me discover who I am, kept me connected with the people who matter most in my life, showed me how to live a healthy lifestyle,  introduced me to hundreds of people who have the same vision as I do, and so much more! Here are 10 companies who have INSPIRED me.

1. Beachbody - I cannot thank this company enough because they have helped me gain physical and financial success. Freedom is the ultimate gift that anyone could ask for because it's about doing what you want, when you want, anytime you want! Out of all the companies who have inspired me, this company is hands down my #1. Beachbody has given me health, happiness, time with my family, freedom to travel the world, and the ability to provide for my daughter. Thank you Beachbody!

2. Spartan Race - I have never been challenged to the limits both physically and mentally by another company. Spartan Race has showed me what I am truly made of. This company has given me the opportunity to meet so many amazing athletes who have one thing in mind, to conquer every obstacle no matter how big or small, and to always continue to set goals to achieve my greatness within.

3. Patagonia - I am all about giving back, and when I first heard about Patagonia's dedication to the environment and social responsibility, that was more than enough reason for me to support them. Patagonia is all about adventure and keeping our planet as safe as possible, so as an adventurer myself, I felt right at home.

4. Lonely Planet - The very first time I traveled abroad (Europe) was in 2001. I was able to plan a trip all by myself without any tour guides or travel agents, and I still felt completely comfortable. Lonely Planet has taught me about seeing the world how it was meant to be seen as an Independent Traveler, and NOT as a "tourist". Travel and learning about world culture is my #1 passion and Lonely Planet is my travel bible. I currently have invested almost a thousand dollars (maybe more) in travel education, and I'm happy to say that it has all been with LP. Travel is the best education that anyone could ask for, and thanks to LP, I have the knowledge to trek anywhere, and live anywhere. The world is my home, and I can never sit still, I must explore.

5. Apple - So how has this company inspired me? It's quite simple. Apple has invented simple products that have truly been an amazing part of my success as an entrepreneur, father, and athlete. From editing software to help me grow the sport of Obstacle Course Racing, to sharing my fitness and business journey online with thousands of people from all over the world using an iPad. This company has given me the tools to help me share my story and inspire others to live happier and healthier lives.

6. Facebook- I have connected with more people using facebook then any other social network online or offline. Nothing will ever beat that personal one on one human interaction, but this company has been a game changer in the art of connecting people from anywhere around the world. I have connected with old friends and family, rekindled relationships, and have met some wonderful people who have made a major impact in my life.

7. Couchsurfing - Think of traveling the world and meeting people for the first time. Now think about those very same people treating you like family in their very own home when they don't even know you! Well, that's the type of community that Couchsurfing.org provides. Imagine traveling to the most beautiful places on the planet and not paying a dime for accommodations, there is nothing more awesome than that! I have created life-long friendships with the couchsurfing community, and I highly recommend that everyone should experience this type of travel, it's about really getting down and learning about the local scene and building relationships with the world.

8. Hostel World - Another way to see the world and meet people from all walks of life is through hostelling. When I travel I choose to stay at hostels versus fancy hotels because when I travel, it's about exploring the outdoors for me and meeting other travelers. If I wanted to stay inside in a nice place to relax, I might as well just stay home. Hostel World allows me to hop from city to city, from country to country and meet other travelers along the way. I don't know how many times I've been inspired by someone who I just met at a hostel. If you want to hear some great travel stories, and get the best travel tips, then forget about guide books, go to a hostel and chat with real people who are traveling for months and years at a time.

9. Crossfit - I do not consider myself a Crossfitter, or a Crossfit Athlete. But what I do like about this company is the culture and community. As a fitness enthusiast, I enjoy incorporating various types of workouts into my routine, and I love nothing better than mixing a little bit of Crossfit into my P90X workouts. I am a Beachbody Coach, but I do appreciate different ways to stay fit. There is nothing more inspiring than working out with people of all fitness disciplines and everyone respecting each other's training methods. It's not about the workout, it's about what works for you. I thank Crossfit for getting people off the couch and offering an environment that helps people stay motivated and challenged.

10. Family - Now I know that this is not a company, but FAMILY is the most important thing in my life. There is nothing more inspiring than being in the company of my very own family and close friends. I do everything with my family! We workout together, do business together, play hard together, travel together, cry together, motivate together, and pray together. For me, family is everything!
