Had such a blast at this local race! One of my favorite things to do is to support the local races everywhere that I go. The family who owns Forza were super hospitable to me, and the drive they have to be successful was absolutely inspiring.
Arlene and I made a nice little weekend family vacation and stayed in Taguig a little before and after filming the Forza Obstacle Run event. We went to one of our favorite filipino restaurants called Heritage at the SM Aura, so friggin good!!! My friends, if you are ever in the Philippines and would like to really try some authentic filipino food prepared with high quality ingredients, make sure to go to Heritage, just note that the staff only speak tagalog, so just bring me along with you, and I can translate for you ha ha =)

Oh and of course I just wanted to give a shout out to my Patreon Supporters, and Media Sponsors for always helping me with my project all over the world.

The first time I was here was two years ago when I filmed the Viper Challenge in Cyberjaya, and the first-ever Spartan Ultra Beast in Asia which was at Johor (JB). The one thing that I really remember was the scorching heat!!! Now I've filmed and been to some of the most hottest places on the planet, but for some reason....every time I come to Malaysia, I feel like I'm literally inside of a volcano, it's just one of the most crucial environments for me to film. Coming to a conclusion on why I feel this way, I believe it is because the lack of trees around the country. Yes, there are trees, but I just don't see a lot of them. And maybe these obstacle racing companies just prefer to build courses at places where trees are not prevalent. I mean, I am currently based in the Philippines, and it really does get very hot and humid here, but there are trees. Not that they help a lot, but at least they are there.
Anyways, trust me....I am not complaining because it was an epic event, a umbrella hat may come in useful for the next time I am here =).
Also, the food was pretty good that I can remember, but this time around I had some friends who had family there, and they took me to some amazing places, so my experience with the local cuisine was much more memorable this time. I'm currently looking for a really good Indian/Malaysian restaurant in Manila Philippines now, so if any of you reading this know of a place like this, please let me know! =)
So here's the Spartan Race Malaysia Video Recap that I did for my OCRTUBE.com media project. It was a blast, and looking forward to more upcoming video projects all throughout Asia this year!

Now that I am back in Manila, I can continue my 3 Week Yoga Program that I started with my fiancé. Just one week of Yoga made me feel super good when I was on the obstacle course in Malaysia. I have two more weeks to go, and then we will begin another workout program together. If you are not incorporating yoga into your OCR training, you are fooling yourself. The founder of Spartan Race (Joe Desena) is a big believer in this practice. Give it a go, I'm sure it will help you with your results!
If any of you would like to workout with us online, feel free to message me, the more the merrier! =)

I wanted to take my fiancé Arlene to Venice, Italy for Valentines Day, but that didn't happened. But I did end up taking her to the Venice Grand Canal in Taguig, Manila Philippines =)
Here's a quick video of what we did, and why I decided to take Arlene to this special place. I hope that you all had a Happy Heart Day. If you're ever in Manila, I recommend checking out this place!
If you want the whole boat to yourself, you would have to pay for 4 people.
- Special Occasions like Valentines Day, the rate was 400 php per person. We did the Valentines Special for 2000 php which included: Gondola Ride, Crudite and Champagne, Balloon and Rose, Candle Light Dinner for Two. Definitely was worth it!
Before checking out the Venice Grand Canal, we had breakfast at this place called the Coffee Project. It's by far one of my favorite coffee shops in the Philippines. It's a bit pricey for the Philippines, but the portions and the quality of the food is bar none! Highly recommended =)
Taking the kids out for some Ice Cream at Buhi Centro, Bicol Philippines
How my life has started in 2019:
- Officially moved to the Philippines to raise my new daughter Pippa here - Haven’t had consistent internet for over a month, so work has been a challenge. - My mother in law passed - Currently rebuilding an SUV - Have driven to Bicol back and forth 3X in one month time - Haven’t started a regular workout routine, so currently looking for some online workout partners, let's do this! - Moved into a new house - Missing my daughter Lauren like crazy!
But I did have time to treat the kids to ICE cream the other day 👍 Please bare with me my family, friends and business partners, I am slowly but surely catching up =)

Here's my latest vlog on my Lagalag Mafia youtube channel, Rest in Peace Lola Salve, miss you!
So it's about that time of the year where I am in search for a few select people to coach and let them know what I've done to become independent and free from a job. Not to say that having a job is the worst idea ever, it's just not for everyone....kinda like me =)
I'm looking for someone who is hungry, likes to stay active, open to ideas, can handle rejection, is teachable, and has big goals!!!
IS THIS YOU?
I mean who doesn't want to be financially independent right? Who doesn't want the freedom to do as they please without some "BOSS" telling them what to do. If you're like me, it is so difficult to take orders from someone. Don't get me wrong, I am totally open to learning and taking criticism, but I would rather take it, and then go on with my life on my own terms.
WILL IT BE EASY?
No it will not. You will need to have work ethic. You will need to be strong inside and out. Becoming an entrepreneur is not for everyone, but everyone can do it if they learn to find that little something inside of them that will keep them going when the going gets tough, and not everyone can do that. Do you get distracted easily? then don't bother, this is for people who are focused on success no matter what curve ball hits them. This is for the 2-5% of the people who think differently, and not like anyone else. If this comes easy for you, then let's talk.
HOW MUCH MONEY CAN I MAKE?
Absolutely zero to a billion dollars, that's up to you. I will be giving you the tools and the strategies that I have learned from my mentors, and my goal is to help you become way better than what I've done with my life. I will teach you several ways to earn while you are sleeping, and most of these streams will be online. Having an online business will give you the freedom to work from anywhere around the world, which is why I'm proud to say that I've been to over 40 countries so far. One point that I would like to make is this.....if you are thinking about money and nothing else, you won't make it! GREED is the worst thing, so if you are money hungry, please move on. If you have passion and know what makes you happy, then let me help you take that passion and make a life with it.
WHAT NEXT
Get in contact with me. I don't have a any sort of application process, but you will need to WOW me with why you feel that I should spend my hours away from my family to help you build your dream. If I choose you, then you will be considered my family. I will treat you like a brother or sister, and we will become partners for life, that is how I do business. So if you feel that this is for you, and you are a GO-GETTER, then connect with me on facebook here, and send me a message about why I should pick you. Looking forward to meeting you!
I've always wanted to visit Valley of Fire State Park which is about 45 minutes to an hour away from Las Vegas, and it was totally worth it. They banned the flying of drones here recently, so I was not able to take any aerial shots for my video =(, but we still took some amazing video footage, check it out!
My daughter Lauren and I during the 2018 Holiday Season - South Tampa 2018
Hi everyone! I hope that everyone is getting started right in 2019 =)
As I am sitting here writing this post, I can't begin to tell you how happy and blessed I feel just to be here. A few days ago I was a wreck, and this is why.
Over the past weekend, there was a typhoon (Usman) that damaged the Bicol Region of the Philippines, and this is where my fiancé and newborn baby were staying. I did not hear from them for TWO DAYS, and I can't tell you what I felt inside. It was the most horrifying experience! Just the unknown about the whereabouts and the condition of my fiancé and newborn was enough to drive me mad. I was in tears for hours on end.
Long story short, after a few days, I finally got word from my fiancé Arlene that she and my baby Penelope was all good, they were alive and well. This happened the night before New Years Eve. And I received the message from Arlene early morning on NYE, and all I can say is that "God is good".
This was my post on my facebook in regards to what happened:
Thank you to all of my friends who supported me through this very difficult time leading up to the New Year. Thank you for all the prayers, and the love that you showed for my family. I am so blessed to have the best friends in the world.
Video Clip from "The Guardian" Let us all pray for all the victims and families affected by Typhoon Usman. The death toll continues.
So this is basically what happened right before bringing in the New Year. Crazy right!
Just a few hours after the good news from Arlene, I hopped on a plane from Florida to Las Vegas to spend NYE with my brother's family gradually working my way back to the Philippines. I made it just in time before the countdown, and was able to ring in the New Year safe and sound at my brother's house with some non-alcoholic sparking grape wine and some vegan pie, it was good a good feeling ringing in the New Year with family, but also knowing that my fiancé and baby was all good and waiting for me safely in the Philippines. I could not ask for more =)
Now as I am sitting up on my bed the next day, New Years Day....the first day of 2019, I am having visions of what will happen, or the things that I will have to tackle this coming year. Lot's of things to do, lot's of goals to accomplish, lot's of places to see, and lot's of love to give!
The four points are the things that I will be focusing on the most, and although that may seem so simple to some people, it really is.
My four points of focus for 2019 as posted on my facebook page:
Other than the four points of focus, the challenge will be the things that will be happening in between. Here are just some of the challenges that I will be facing, but excited to conquer: - Raising my new baby in the Philippines - Being consistent with work in order to continue to support my family - Keeping strong relationships with my business partners at a place that is not known for the best internet in Asia - Staying in contact with my daughter in the USA from thousands of miles away in the Philippines, and making sure that I still remain the best father to her, so important to me! - Traveling for my OCRTUBE media projects which means I will be in and out of the Philippines and leaving my family. - Working on eventually taking my fiancé and newborn to the USA to visit, lots of paperwork involved - Starting another business in the Philippines to help supplement my projects and support my family, this takes a lot of time, and doing this in between everything else will be tricky - Getting married to my Queen. This isn't really a challenge, but I guess I just want to make sure that I can always provide for her, and show her how much I love and care for her and my baby while I am traveling for work. - To eventually be able to take my family with me on my work travels, this is a financial challenge
So these are just a string of things that 2019 will bring for me. I look forward to the new year, and what it will bring for me and my new family. Am I scared? Absolutely! But just like the incident that happened just a few days ago, I was shown that things will happen with or without me, so I have to continue setting goals and keep moving forward, have faith because God is always good, He always has a plan for me.
Anyways, just a quick share post. I hope that all of you have an amazing year, and I hope to run into some of you soon!
ONE MORE THING
This year as in past years has always been all about helping others, so just wanted to put this out here, if you are needing some health and fitness accountability or advice, please don't hesitiate to message me. I am by no means perfect when it comes to health and fitness, but two people "or more" helping each other towards a common goal is always better than just one.
(14 Day Free Trial Offer, message me to be added to my free mobile app group too!)
Also, entrepreneurism is also something that I love. If you feel stuck in a rut, and need help with getting your finances in check for 2019, let's help each other. I don't have all the answers, but I would love to share some business ideas with you, and maybe both of us can take our situations, our future to a much better place in 2019, especially for our families =).
