My TO DO LIST Post-Lockdown

To Do List Post Lockdown, Lockdown Philippines, Post Lockdown, Filipino Beachbody Coach, iCoinPro Affiliate, Free Crypto Training iCoinPro, Arnel Banawa, Netflix of Fitness Free Trial, OCRTUBE, Start an Online Business, Become a Beachbody Coach, Online Fitness Influencer

I remember one of the first things that I learned about GOAL SETTING was, "If you don't write it down, there is a slim chance that it will happen", hence the purpose for this post! =) Have you heard of this? Do you agree?

Currently based in the Philippines, we have been on a mandatory lockdown since March 14th, I can't believe that it's been that long! I totally understand the premise behind the strict rules, and if it can keep my family safe, I will most definitely listen to the EXPERTS! With that aside, I also feel that things are piling up on my TO DO LIST, and with my personality-type being very "picky" and organized, I am just getting a bit ance. =)

With that being said, I've already been thinking about all the things that need to be done post-lockdown. Some of the details on the list are things that have been delayed due to the Coronavirus Outbreak, so I'll be starting with those things first. Do you think it's a good idea to create a list for this sort of thing? =) Have you already done this?

I posted a quick list on my facebook page about a week ago, so this is just a more detailed version. Hope you don't get too bored! Here goes:

1.  Extend my Visa - According to the Bureau of Immigration in the Philippines, all foreign nationals (like me) who were here when the lockdown started and could not leave, all fines and penalties will be waived granted that you are qualified within the said dates during the lockdown. Anyways, I have 30 days after they have lifted the lockdown to pay for my visa extension for a few months (Since April). After 30 days, fines and penalties will be implemented.

2.  Visit Bicol Philippines - After I have taken care of my Visa Extension fees, I will be going to Bicol Philippines. As most of you know, this is where my fiancĂ© Arlene and our daughter Penelope is from. We plan to visit and make sure that Arlene's family is ok. Another reason is to help Arlene's niece prepare for high school. She normally walks to her elementary school, but her high school is much further, and from my understanding, her father is not in a place where he is able to pay for the transport costs to her school on a weekly basis. Arlene and I decided that we will purchase a bicycle for her, as well as take on the responsibility of helping her with some transport costs when biking to school is not an option due to weather etc. I would like to add that Arlene's niece is super smart, and it would be a waste if she is not able to further her education. There are a lot of children in the Philippines in this situation whereas the parents cannot afford their education and the costs that come with it, so the kids end up quitting school and working for pennies. The children go on and never reach their full potential and live in poverty for the rest of their lives, its a vicious cycle. Now I know that I cannot help everyone, but I also know that everyone can help one person, and this is how making an impact works. I see a lot of potential in Arlene's niece, and hope my decisions will ultimately help her family with a better future.

3.  Go back to the USA - Since the lockdown the economy has gone to crap. People have been struggling, businesses have gone bankrupt, and unfortunately many people have died. Almost everyone has been affected one way or the other due to this Coronavirus Outbreak, including myself. My purpose for going back to the USA is first, see my family, and secondly, work on some projects that I have missed due to the lockdown. I won't go into detail on my projects but most will be video projects. I plan to spend roughly a little over a month in the USA before heading back to the Philippines.

4.  OCRTUBE.com - This basically is connected with my trip to the USA, but since the lockdown, I have missed many global opportunities for filming video projects for my OCRTUBE.com initiative. There have been many companies that I've worked with who have cancelled a lot of their events in 2020 because of this crisis, so the goal is to reconnect with some of the companies and see what I can do to help them get back on their feet with my video production services. This is a scary part for me as most of these events bring together masses of people together which would be impossible to follow any form of social distancing, so I will have to play this by ear, and take only projects that I feel is safe for me and my family. I may have to focus on one-on-one projects such as single athlete documentaries etc. for the time being.

5.  New Youtube Channel - I won't go into specifics on this one, but I have been in the works of a new and EXCITING youtube channel that will focus on travel exploration and giving back (two things that have been a huge priority since day one). Some of you know about my other channel "Lagalag Mafia", which focuses on my family stuff. Yes, I will continue uploading on that channel but it will not be as active on a weekly basis. The Lagalag Mafia channel was always more of a personal channel, so this new channel will be more business-focused, and not specific to my family endeavors (although my family will be with me anyways). Videos on this new channel will be uploaded multiple times per week. I plan to spend most of my time post-lockdown building this channel, so this will be my biggest project in 2020. More to come =)

My main Camera I use

6.  Arlene and Baby Pippa - Another huge priority is to start working on the paperwork to eventually bring my fiancĂ© and daughter Penelope (we call her Pippa) to the USA. The main reason for this is for Arlene to meet the rest of my family, and for my family to finally meet Baby Pippa. But the biggest and most exciting part about all of this is to have a family reunion with two of my daughters (Lauren and Penelope) together (for the FIRST TIME) along with Arlene and I. This will be like a DREAM COME TRUE for me. This will definitely be the HIGHLIGHT of the year, and the time when you will see me really cry like a baby!

7.  Help One Person Per Month Start an Online Business - Although this is nothing new to me since I've been doing this for over 10 years now, I plan to continue doing this as a way of giving back, but on the NEXT LEVEL.  Not everyone can handle the ups and downs of being an entrepreneur, so I plan to really focus on only the serious people who qualify to a certain criteria that I have created. The reality is, I am very busy as is everyone else. My family is my number one, so I would like to spend as much time with them as possible, which means that if someone is just BS'ing me about wanting to become an entrepreneur, but not willing to do the work, it's just a huge waste of time for me. I have accumulated a lot of wisdom and online business strategies during the years, so I would like to help others get out of the rut that I was once in. If you are reading this, and you would like a new fresh start without all the BS, then feel free to message me, and let's test the waters! Join my inner-circle, message me directly here.

8.  Stay healthy - This is easier said than done. We all would like to be happy, healthy and fit, but it does take some effort. And with the wrong people in your life, this will be even more of a struggle. It has always been about surrounding myself with the right people who support my vision, so with that....I have created a number of online groups for me to stay even more connected with like-minded people like me. You know what they say, "You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with". These are the people who will shape your future. How do you keep it simple? I recommend spending time with people who are smarter than you, have more money than you, people who challenge you and only want the best for you. This is a big part of my life, as if I am not challenged, I cannot get better. Do you agree? Would you like to be more happy, more healthy, and have more financial success? Me too! =)

TOP 9 Reasons Why People Hate Money

TOP 9 Reasons Why People Hate Money - From a Beachbody Coach
TOP 9 Reasons Why People Hate Money

I have met a lot of people who were motivated by money and witnessed them build huge businesses, then fall right back down to rock bottom. I've also met some brilliant people through my travels, some of whom have graduated from the most prestigious universities in the world (not that it matters), and they had little or no money, and they were happy as can be. I am 44 years old, and can honestly say that I have been on both sides of the spectrum. It wasn't too long ago that I was in the nightlife industry, and I built a lifestyle marketing business to a six-figure income. My business specialized in hosting hedonistic parties, special events, and nightlife/concierge travel services. I was living a life that most people dreamed of, but I was not happy. I had a huge business and only a handful of real friends. That all changed when I turned my life around and started living a more healthier and fit lifestyle. I went from night clubs to fit clubs! I changed my whole mind-set and despised money. I hated money because it reminded me of all the fake friends that I had in the past, and all the mistakes that I made when I thought I was invincible. I hurt a lot of people during the process, and I just didn't want to do it again.

"I went from being broke, to having money, to reaching rock bottom, to making it back on top - this time, I'm doing things right" ~ Coach Arnel

So yes, I understand how some people can hate money. It took me awhile to finally realize the other side of what money can actually do (good things), because I was only exposed to the bad side, and the "Get Rich Quick". I ask that when you read this post, that you read it with an open mind, and then ask yourself this question, what do I do with my money?

TOP 9 Reasons Why People Hate Money:

1.  Because they don't have it
2.  Because of jealousy
3.  Because they abused money in the past and are afraid of it
4.  Because they don't know how to manage their finances
5.  Because they compare themselves with others
6.  Because they watch too much TV
7.  Because they think that money can only buy material things
8.  Because they are mad at the world, and quit on themselves and their goals
9.  Because they are negative thinkers and live under a rock

"Money is not the root of all evil, people are"

Here Are 9 Ways That Money Has Helped Me:

-  Start my own business so I can control my income instead of a boss
-  I can travel the world on my own terms
-  I can donate to great causes and my church
-  I can support and spend more time with my family
-  I can eat healthier, or whatever I want. If I want to eat at a nice restaurant, I can.
-  I can pay for my daughter's college tuition to help with her future
-  I have a roof over my head
-  I can help more people on a global scale live a more healthy and fulfilling life
-  I understand that it's not about money, it's what you do with the money that counts, I know that now.

I am now focused on helping people get healthy and fit physically and financially, I wouldn't change it for the world!

I live a very simple life, but yes......I still enjoy nice things. I don't need to stay at the Four Seasons, but it is nice every once in awhile. I have no motivation or passion to buy a Bugatti, but I do appreciate what it takes to create the masterpiece. You don't have to be money-motivated to achieve big goals, and I am proof of that. Money means many things to different people, so please stop blaming it on the paper (if you are that type of person), it's not the paper, it's YOU.

If money has helped you do some amazing things, please feel free to comment below and share it with me, I'd love to hear from you! =)

5 Word Phrases That I May Or May Not Miss When I Leave South East Asia

Backpacking South East Asia

This is the tail end of my trip in South East Asia. I have had such an amazing time, and have met some incredible people from all over the world. Back home, there are certain words that you hear all the time, certain phrases that people say depending on where you are from. Like "Want some "pop"? up north, versus "Here's your "soda" sir" down south. South East Asia is no different, and I'm not going to lie, but I've heard so many things here that I just don't want to hear again lol =). But it's just part of travel, and I am just blessed to experience what other cultures and people say from around the globe. It's a different world out here, and who knows, I might miss some of these word phrases, well maybe not all of them =)

1.  TUK TUK? - It doesn't matter where you are in SE Asia, you will never really have any problems finding local transportation (unless you are in a very remote area). These tuk tuk drivers are real hustlers! They can take you places, become your personal tour guide, and provide you with practically anything that you want, legal or illegal. Now not all of them are like this, but most of them are, at least the ones that I have come across. Tuk Tuk drivers are not really all that bad if they aren't ripping you off. If you can act like a local, and show them that you have done your research, you will most likely have a decent experience with them. Let it be no shock to you, that when you're in SE Asia, all you will hear is "Tuk Tuk"? This is their way of asking you if you need a ride somewhere. I do love riding in tuk tuks, and everywhere you go, you will find some pimped out tuk tuks. My favorite one was a Rolls Royce =)

2.  MASSAGE? - In SE Asia you can get a massage for as little as $3 US! I honestly think that SE Asia must be the "mecca" of thee massage! They offer every massage that you can think of! Almost everywhere you walk, you will see massage parlors, and what do you hear? "Massage"!!! "I give you good price",  "I make you feel good long time". Now there are a lot of really decent places to go to, and there are just as many shady places as well. I was once in Vientiane, Laos and I saw these ladies in bicycles and they were fully equipped with there massage shrapnel. It was actually pretty cool watching the sunset on the Mekong River while watching these ladies give massages and pedicures "you name it, they did everything", right by the Mekong River in Vientiane. In a way, I will miss these cute ladies asking me if I want a massage =). Traveling from country to country, having a massage is something that you should get regularly, and it could really make your travel a very pleasant one.

3.  OH MY BUDDHA! - I think that this is one that I will really miss because every time I heard it, it was because something funny just happened. "Oh my Buddha" is just like saying "OMG" or "WTH" =) Infact, I think I even started saying it, and I will probably continue saying it in the USA, just because heck, it's different! And it reminds me of some really good times that I had in SE Asia!

Good times in South East Asia!

4.  OBAMA =) - I didn't hear this at too many places, but I heard it almost everyday when I was in Myanmar. It's like this, when the Burmese people would ask me where I was from, I would say "I'm from the USA", and they would say "Ohhhhhh, yeah Obama!!!! =)" with a big huge smile, like they wanted me to know that they knew something about where I was from.  It was especially cute when the kids said it, especially the ones who were always trying to sell me 30 postcards that I would never use =). I guess they were in love with Obama ha ha! Remember the song?

Street Kid Bagan Myanmar

5.  WANT SOME BOOM BOOM? - This is actually something that most of the Tuk Tuk drivers would say when you didn't need a ride. It was like they had a full menu of things to sell you. If you didn't need a ride, they wanted to sell you sex (not from them, but from crime syndicates or pimps), if you didn't want that, they would sell you narcotics and so on. The sex trade is so normal in SE Asia, and in some places....totally legal. I do not support the industry because a lot of it supports sex trafficking of young innocent girls, and being that I have a teenage daughter, that is something that I do not want to be a part of. The sex trade is big business in SE Asia, and I don't really care when adults make a decision to make it a part of their profession, that's of course their business, but when it come to kids, that's when I have to voice my opinion on the issue. Let kids be kids, and let adults be adults.

So those are 5 phrases commonly heard while traveling SE Asia. For the most part, it's no different from the things that we say or hear in the USA, or other parts of the world, the words just change, but they almost all the time have the same meaning. During my travels in South East Asia, I've learned that people think and feel the same, and that's pretty much all over the world. We all love, we all hate, we all have dreams, we all crave adventure, we all work hard for what we believe in, and we all want our freedom. I love SE Asia, and I will definitely be back!
