I'll be honest, I was a little hesitant on going to an event that was not specific to my Beachbody Coaching Business, but I decided to open my mind, and give the Mastermind Event in Orlando a shot. I am the type of person who understands the power behind PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT, but I am like most people who struggle with the consistency of it in my daily life, I do much better when I attend LIVE events. This is not to say that I need the constant motivation to help me, I am pretty self-motivated when it comes to building my business and working out. Where I feel that Personal Development comes in huge in my business is with leadership.

Leadership skill sets are crucial to building businesses of all types, and I'm not talking about being a BOSS to employees, it's more like being a leader to other leaders. There's a big difference between being a boss, and creating leaders. I am definitely more interested in helping people become entrepreneurs versus employees. Now there is nothing wrong with having a job, trust me I know how grateful I was when I had 3 jobs to pay my bills, but I would have to say that I am much happier now working for myself and being my own boss, and I would like to simply pay this lifestyle forward to as many people as I can =).

So like I mentioned before, I understand the power behind Personal Development and I feel that I get a little more excited, and stay more focused when I attend a LIVE event. When you attend a LIVE event, there are some huge benefits:

- You meet other like-minded entrepreneurs
- You have access to LIVE trainings from Top Leaders in the industry
- You gain the information that you need to take your business to the next level

The Mastermind Event in Orlando was hosted at the Renaissance Orlando Sea World Hotel Property. The 3 day event was jam-packed with credible speakers representing various direct-selling companies from around the world. This event kind of reminded me of a similar event in the obstacle course racing world (OCR World Championships) in which athletes come from all over the world and represent different companies, as well as countries. The Mastermind Event was just like the OCRWC. It wasn't specific to just one company or country, it was the entire industry as a whole coming together like a family, it was just amazing.

The organizer Art Jonak has been in the networking industry for over 20 years. He has visited over 81 countries a lives the true networking lifestyle. This is someone who I connected with right away because I am also considered an avid world traveler. He is a brilliant man, and I give him huge props for creating such a wonderful event.

Some of the other speakers that I connected with were Orjan and Hilde Saele, Tom Shreiter, Ex-NFL Player JJ Birden, Wes Linden, Christopher Medina, and one of my all-time favorites, Sarah Robbins. There were other speakers such as Darnell Self, Chris Brady, and John Addison just to name a few.

The whole weekend was just packed with training, motivation, and inspirational stories. Most of the featured speakers were ranked #1 in their companies as Top Producers and/or Recruiters. The information was "generic" and was geared towards helping everyone no matter which company they represented. I found the information to be very similar to what I normally learn at some of my Beachbody Company specific events. There were some strategies that I feel I had to tweak a bit before sharing it with my team, but the information was pretty much on point and very useful.

Curious about starting a business? 

If you were to ask me about who this event would be for, I would say someone who is in the direct-selling industry who is just above the beginner level and up. I think it's important for anyone who is planning to attend this event, that they build their foundation with the company that they are representing, learn the system, and then use this event to hone their skills to help them get to the next level of their business.

In my opinion, the Mastermind Event was fantastic. It's the only event in the world that combines everyone from different direct-selling companies together all under one roof. It's an event that I feel is very important to have, especially for the growth of the direct-selling industry. I can see this event as a way to grow the network marketing profession, and I highly recommend it to everyone who is serious about becoming successful. I will definitely be back with my team!

Why Become a Beachbody Coach?

What's the big deal? 

Just to set the record straight, I wanted to let you know that this post is by no means focused on trying to "RECRUIT" everyone into the Beachbody Coach lifestyle. In fact, I'll be honest with you, I am pretty darn picky on who I would like on my coach team anyways, but if you're reading this, I'm sure that you are amazing =)

To build a successful online fitness empire, it takes the right people, with the right attitude, and the right vision. Those are the people who I find that I connect with on a personal and business stand point.

If helping people is your goal, then isn't helping the masses more in-line with your goals?

Another point here. I am not someone who needs constant recognition, I am not flashy, and I don't get excited about materialistic rewards, or fancy tourist trap trips or BMW's. BUT......I do have goals, I love to travel, I love culture, I love to spend time with my family, I love staying active, I love being without a boss, I love volunteering, and I absolutely love helping people. Oh, and I love to eat....A LOT =)

"There is no such thing as a PERFECT Beachbody Coach, so don't think that you have to be"

Now I totally understand that it's ok to splurge every now and again, and trust me, I do just that sometimes, but through the years, I have learned to appreciate what I have, and everything else I receive is just a sheer bonus in my life. For me, it's not about what you have, it's about experiencing the special moments in your life with the people who matter most. 

So why become a Beachbody Coach?

I have to ask WHY NOT? If I shared the things that my coach family and I have done with the freedom that came from this opportunity, then and only then will you be able fully understand and visualize the BIG PICTURE of what Beachbody Coaching is all about. 

I cannot speak for everyone, but I have met so many amazing people with inspiring stories. I have come to understand that everyone has their own reasons, just like I have my own. No two dreams and goals are the same, there is always something different. But one thing is for sure, I have found that most people want to be more happy, more healthy, have more time in the day, and be more financially stable. Now I don't know about you, but if you throw away all the excuses, and open your mind to the possibilities, this can be the vehicle to help you with those 4 simple things. For me, it's totally worth the risk to achieve that.

But again, this is not for everyone. If you're LAZY, forget it! But if you have the right attitude, and posess a strong vision for your future, then that's a start.

I was there filming for my Not-For-Profit media project OCRTUBE.com along with my fellow partner in crime, and Beachbody Coach Amanda Nelson. We had an absolute blast chasing some of the BEST athletes in the world. We took full advantage of our Beachbody Performance HYDRATE to ensure that we could last all day, and trust me, we KILLED some RECOVER soon after, well.....after we took a shower at a truck stop lol. That's how you get the MUD off when you travel from race to race. Ok, maybe you don't understand ha ha, so maybe just enjoy this beautiful bean footage from this amazing, but brutal OCR event.

Insanity Cardio Abs Workout

I recently decided to do a second round of the Insanity Challenge, something that I haven't done in a couple years. With Beachbody coming out with workouts that you can do in 25 to 30 minutes, I started to get used to the short workouts, and I wanted to challenge myself to see if I can still hang with Shaun T for more than 30 minutes. And I just have to say that he is royally kicking my ass LOL.

Don't get me wrong, I can go to the gym and workout for a couple hours, but to do Insanity for two hours, "forget about it" =). I am currently on week 4 of month 1, and staying strong. I definitely feel the burn, but I also am feeling like I haven't in awhile, I just missed doing Insanity.

Savage Race Florida - Fall 2015

Just another day at the office #FitLife

All I can say is what an EPIC event that Savage Race put together this past weekend in Dade City, Florida. Savage Race is like OCR's (obstacle course racing) "Best Kept Secret". The event was on point from the staff, the obstacles, and the festival area. Staying innovative is something that I notice from this company. They may not be as big as Spartan Race and some of the other veteran companies out there, but I'm telling you, they have a lot of what most OCR companies don't have (from my experience), and that's "class". I would have to say that they fit the bill as being the "White Glove Service" of the obstacle course racing industry. But don't let that fool you, their obstacles are down right challenging.

My Mud Run Fun friends, they love to have a good time! 

I 've been attending, participating, and filming the Savage Race for about 3 years now, and they are definitely on my TOP 3 OCR list when it comes to "must do" events.
