I've always wanted to make this dish, so I finally made it happen, and it was DELICIOUS! Now don't get me wrong, I am not PALEO, I love my carbs, and I need it too for what I do...at least I find that I perform much better, but I do enjoy paleo meals.


I'm not going to write out the full recipe, it's pretty simple to follow from the video, and you do not need a lot of ingredients. You may have to go to a specialty health market to find things like Coconut Aminos. Anyways, enjoy it and feel free to contact me or comment below how you liked the recipe =)

Battle Races New Orleans - 2016

So while most of the obstacle course racing world was doing as many laps as they could at the World's Toughest Mudder in Las Vegas, I was in New Orleans supporting a local event called Battle Races. Not that I didn't want to be at WTM, it was because I've been traveling for several months and filming a race every weekend, I just wanted to take a little break, and stick to a event that was nearby.


I've heard of Battle Races since last year and always wanted to check them out, and I'm so glad that I did. The race founders, a husband and wife team, really made the event what it is. I've filmed and participated in a lot of OCR and endurance events since 2011, and so it's pretty hard to impress me, but Battle Races was definitely a top notch event. Good people, high-quality obstacles, and a great venue.

IRONMAN FLORIDA - Panama City Beach 2016

I would have to say that this event gave me a NEW RESPECT for triathletes! This was my second time filming a triathlon, but my FIRST TIME filming an IRONMAN. The atmosphere was touching and inspired me. I spend most of my time filming obstacle course races such as Spartan Races and Tough Mudder type of events, and the athletes are also very inspirational.

I've always thought that the concept of just 3 obstacles such as the SWIM, BIKE, RUN in triathlons was quite boring, but this event changed my thinking, and I'm so glad that I was able to experience it and really see the BIGGER PICTURE of this sport.

Don't want to do a full write up or review or anything, but I just wanted to share my two videos that I created. The first video was the official video recap for my OCRTUBE Media Project, and the second video was just a MOTIVATIONAL video to include the footage that was not added into the recap video.

The most challenging thing for me as far as filming this event was the fact that I actually had to have transport to cover 140+ miles of this event. Unlike obstacle course racing events where I could just run and film the whole event, it would be impossible to do that with a triathlon, especially with trying to capture prime footage of the pro and amateur athletes. I learned a lot from this event, and I look forward to covering more IRONMAN'S and triathlons. Until then, please enjoy my videos =)

As I am writing about this, it is probably the worst time of the year for health and fitness. The holiday season is upon us and it seems like everyone is saving all of their hard earned cash to buy gifts for their friends and family, or having a fiesta buffet =) Hey, that's just how it goes for a lot of people, I get it because I've been there plenty of times! Actually, more than I'd like to admit!


So what the heck is this post about, "2 Million Bucks and.........." Well, I like to keep things really simple even though I am more of an analytical person, I always want the facts! So with that, I'm going to try to give you guys the simple facts about what this Beachbody Health Bet Challenge is all about, and how you can take advantage of it before and after the holiday season.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
Well, the company Beachbody is betting over $2 million dollars that you and your friends will fall in love with getting healthy! During the challenge period which is January 9th - February 5th, 2017, eligible challengers who meet the requirements shown below will win an equal share of a $2 million+ prize pool. The company is putting up 2 million dollars plus a bonus of $5 per challenge pack sold from October 31st - December 31st 2016, so the prize pool will actually be way above the seeded $2 million dollars, up to $3 million smackers!!

HOW DO I QUALIFY?
It's really easy, just follow the requirements below:

-  You must be a participant in an active Challenge Group via mobile app hosted by your Coach (that's me!!) during the Challenge Period.

-  Participants must have a valid First and Last Name, email address, and shipping address on record with their Team Beachbody account. (Get a Free Team Beachbody Membership here, or contact me here to find this best option for you for the Health Bet)

-  Once you are in the official challenge group hosted by me, you must log 5 Shakeology uses each accompanied by a shakeology photo during each qualifying week. (you do not have to be in the photo, but it is definitely encouraged)

-  You must also log a minimum of 3 workouts during each qualifying week. These workouts do not have to be Beachbody Workouts, but you may get bonus prizes by me if you do =)

Free Online Yoga Running Camp - 30 Days

This is much needed for me!!! I just got back from several months of traveling and filming obstacle course racing events non-stop every weekend, and although I was able to get in plenty of workouts during that time, I have to admit that I was just not as consistent. Also, when I'm traveling, I tend to do the workouts that I am already good at, versus the workouts that I need the most work on, which is my flexibility and core.

I am stationary for a few weeks in Florida, meaning that I won't be traveling far distances, or out of the country, so I decided to focus on getting my flexibility and core back, and since it is cooling rather nicely in Florida, I thought it would be perfect to do a Yoga Running Challenge, I call camp =).
