So check this out, 813 Fit Club, a free fitness group focused on getting the Tampa community off the couch using the billion-dollar P90X brand hosts free outdoor workouts every 4th Tuesday of the month at Curtis Hixon Park.

I started 813 Fit Club along with my Beachbody Coach Team early 2011, and it has been growing exponentially every year! What started out as a way to just keep myself and other online fitness coaches motivated during our own journey, turned out to be one of the Top Free Fitness Classes in America according to Shape Magazine, you can read the article here.

Every 4th Tuesday, 813 Fit Club brings in Certified Beachbody Instructors and local Personal/Group Fitness Trainers to host free/donation-based classes to help the community become more active. All other Tuesday Night Workouts are hosted at the newly-renovated Barrymore Hotel just off the scenic Tampa Riverwalk. Donations are definitely not required, and hardly ever talked about, but it is one of the primary ways that our club has remained strong through the years. It's the support of our members that keep our Fit Club strong and on the cutting-edge. Our members are from all walks of life, we have young professionals, students, single moms, athletes, beginners, as well as Crossfit enthusiasts just to name a few. The one thing that you can get from all of our free workouts is 100% support, motivation, and accountability. It's not about competition or who's doing the most push ups. It's about encouraging each other to do more and be more.

Although the workouts are all free, members who decide to get more serious about turning health and fitness into a lifestyle, our team of Coaches provide targeted online fitness challenges to help with specific goals.  7 Ways to Stay Motivated While Working Out from Home

When I began my fitness journey back in September 2010, the question that I asked myself was "how in the heck am I going to keep myself motivated while working out at home?" In the beginning, I preferred to workout at home because I worked a lot of hours (I had 3 jobs), and my income was limited so I could not afford a gym membership or a personal trainer. I started with P90X which was given to me by my brother Fermin Banawa, and that's how it all started. Even though I am a naturally self-motivated person, I unfortunately had plenty of days where I needed some help with staying motivated and accountable. These are the 7 things that kept me motivated while working out at home, which could also be implemented to working out at the gym.

7 Ways to Stay Motivated While Working Out at Home:

1.  GET A FREE COACH - Nothing beats having a Free Coach to be there for you while you are going through your fitness journey. Working out at home is tough, but having a coach who can be there for you online anytime can be a game changer. 2.  JOIN A FREE ONLINE FITNESS GROUP - A Free Fitness Support Group is a group of like-minded people who have one set goal, to get healthy and fit while meeting others. If you ever lack the motivation to workout, it's pretty simple, all you have to do is post a message in the group, and you will literally get a ton of messages motivating you to get your butt off the couch! The group is for everyone to post their workouts, healthy recipes, motivational messages, and even get in on some challenges. Simply log in everyday, interact with hundreds of your friends, and get your fit on!

3.  JOIN A CHALLENGE GROUP - If your goal is to get the best results possible, then a Beachbody Challenge Group is what I recommend. I started with a P90X Challenge, and I stayed motivated and had an absolute blast! A Challenge Group is like a regular online fitness support group on STEROIDS! It's not just about health and fitness, it's about your life, your family, and your future. It's about making health and fitness a lifestyle and making friends for life. 4.  INVITE FRIENDS TO WORKOUT - Some days I would not want to workout by myself, so I would invite my roommate or a friend to join me, and believe me, it made a huge difference. Not only do you get that extra motivation from working out with someone, but you are also sharing the lifestyle with others. Sometimes when you are working out on your own at home, you may not push yourself as hard, but when you think you're tired and you look up, and your friend is still doing push ups, that can give you that extra push to go the extra mile, and that's when the RESULTS come! =)

5.  GET THE FAMILY INVOLVED - It all started when my brother introduced me to P90X, and since then, I've inspired many of my other family members to a healthier lifestyle. A family who works out together, stays together =). I am always motivated when I work out with family, especially very inspired when I workout with my father who is 70 years old and still killing his Insanity workouts!

6.  FIT CLUBS - Yes, I'll say it again, working out at home can be tough, and that's why I started a Fit Club back in 2011 in Tampa, Fl to help my fitness challengers get more motivated with their home workouts. There are Beachbody Fit Clubs all over the USA and Canada. Fit Clubs are for people who would like to try Beachbody Fitness Programs for the first time, or for people who are already doing Beachbody Fitness Challenge Groups and would like more motivation to get them through the week. It's also for anyone who enjoys group fitness. I know that this option takes you away from your home, but if it can motivate you, then why not right? Here's an idea, why not start a little group fit club at your house once or twice a week with your friends and family! Working out at home doesn't mean that you have to do it alone =)

7.  REST - This is a very important part of staying motivated. If you are not well-rested, you will not have the energy to workout at home. Let's face it, without energy, there is no motivation. So make sure that you are taking full advantage of your rest and recovery days. I recommend that you also focus on 80% nutrition. You are what you eat, and if you eat clean, you will rest better, and have the fuel needed to conquer your workouts at home.

P90X - Cardio X

P90X Cardio X is a 43 minute workout which is included with the P90X Classic Program. You will not find the Cardio X workout in the Classic Workout Schedule, only in the Lean and Doubles Workout Sheets. Although it is not included in the classic workout sheet, some people replace the P90X Plyometrics workout with Cardio X.

Not one of my favorite P90X workouts, but I use this mainly on a rest or recovery day. The workout consists of a little bit of yoga, martial arts, fat-burning cardio, and plyometrics. This would also make for a good workout if you are just trying to get some cardio in for the day, and you don't feel like running.

The great thing about this workout is that you can go as intense as you want. There are modifications available, so it is perfect for anyone of all fitness levels. It's also a fun workout to do as a group, especially if you are a Beachbody Coach who runs a Beachbody Fit Club.

The one thing about this workout is that you can easily slack if you want to =). But if you go full intensity all the way to the end, you can burn some major calories with this. Just remember, when you are doing the power punches and kicks, that you do them with proper form or you can easily tweak your back or knees. Foot placement when you are kicking and punching is very important, keep your core tight, and always breathe =).

P90X is definitely one of my favorite workouts to do on a weekly basis, specifically for strength. I just wanted to add this REMINDER in closing just for some of you out there who think that P90X is just a 90 Day Program. Most people do not know that P90X currently includes: P90X Classic, P90X2, P90X3, P90X Plus, P90X Certified Classes, and 3 years worth of P90X One on One Workouts. P90X is not just a 90 Day Program, it's a lifestyle. Don't let anyone tell you anything different just because they want you to try their program or gym. P90X is one of the most versatile workout programs out there. You can do P90X anywhere: the gym, your home, outdoors, incorporated with your other workouts, and in a group setting. Whatever your goal is, whether to lose weight, bulk up, lean up, train for a Spartan Race, or just maintain a healthy and fit lifestyle.....P90X is for you!

Most people have heard of P90X and Insanity, they are among the TOP best-selling fitness programs of all time! What most people do not know is that there are Beachbody Fit Clubs all over the USA and Canada where you can try these workouts for free! You know, "try before you buy". If you ever wanted to try a Beachbody Fitness Program, or just enjoy Free Group Workouts, then you should definitely look into joining a Free Beachbody Fit Club in your area!

Beachbody is the company behind P90X, and they have about 20+ other fitness and nutrition programs under their belt, with new programs coming out almost every year. Most of the fitness programs were created so that you could do them from the comfort of your own home. But programs such as P90X, Body Beast and some Insanity workouts can also be done at the gym, or anywhere just as long as you have the workout sheets, app, and equipment. Whatever floats your boat, Beachbody has a program for you!

The main objective is to educate people about Beachbody Fitness and Nutrition while helping the community stay active.

Does it cost anything to attend a Beachbody Fit Club?
Most Beachbody Fit Clubs are free. Some workouts may be donation-based, but most are complimentary. All Beachbody Fit Clubs are supported and fully-funded by Beachbody Coaches.

Do I have to buy anything?
Absolutely not! Beachbody Fit Clubs are all about helping the community, and offering free information and advice. There is never any pressure to buy anything! Although the workouts are free, participants do have the option to purchase Beachbody Fitness and Nutrition Programs directly from a Beachbody Coach. When participants purchase from a Beachbody Coach, it helps fund and maintain the Fit Club and on top of that, participants will receive FREE Coaching and everything that they need to get the best results!
