Woke up MEGA EARLY to get my workout done before my road trip to Asheville, NC to film a Spartan Race. Felt good to get it done early! I also went to the Rise of the Sufferfest OCR Documentary Screening, what a great film! A must see if you are an OCR ENTHUSIAST!

FYI, this is a LATE POST (from last Friday), just playing catch up after filming the Asheville Spartan Super this past weekend, should be all caught up by tomorrow =) Here's my accountability video though! =) Thanks so much for following my journey!
Day 5, Week Four - 22 Minute Hard Corps | Special Ops Resistance
My Dad and I did Cardio 3 for the first time last night and the Cross Climbers and the Burpees got me this time =)
I am really enjoying 22 Minute Hard Corps, but I would have to say that it does help A TON to have a workout partner. My Dad and I keep each other accountable, and he makes me look forward to working out because I know that we can crack jokes during the workout. I admit, we sometimes have to stop the video to finish laughing, but hey, at least we're getting an extra AB WORKOUT right =)
My Dad and I got our 22 Minute Hard Corps Resistance 1 Workout done late. It was just one of those NON-STOP days =).
When I started working out and doing P90X back in 2010, I used to workout late at night and felt good, and now I actually prefer doing my workouts earlier. We did this workout last night, and during some parts of this workout, I just felt drained. There will be some days where you will just not have enough energy, and it might've been because of doing the workout late, or not fueling my body properly though out the day.
There are a few reasons that one might feel the lack of energy during their workouts, here are some of them: (check out the Beachbody Performance Stack for pre-workout and post recovery)
- Poor nutrition, or not enough calories though out the day
- Lack of rest, sleep, and recovery
- Dehydration - Negative people =)
I encourage you to make sure that you try to stay on point with the above. I know that it can be difficult depending on the circumstances, and not everyday will be the perfect day, but that's all part of the journey. It's also not just all about the workouts, that's only 20% of the journey.
Anyways, we all go through some tough times when trying to BETTER ourselves. Just remember that you are INSPIRING others whether you know this or not. By you working out and eating healthy, you are helping the people around you, so please keep doing what you are doing =)
If you ever need some extra fitness motivation, I can help, feel free to message me here!
Day 3, Week Four - 22 Minute Hard Corps | Resistance 1
Today was Day 2, Week Four of my 22 Minute Hard Corps Challenge. I decided to try out this new FACEBOOK LIVE video thing, and I hope to get used to it soon =) Right now, I only plan to use FB LIVE Video in my Exclusive Online Challenge Groups, but eventually I'm sure I'll be posting on my main timeline. I will post a lot more LIVE video on my blog here, as well as my Coach Page here, so feel free to follow me on those social media channels =)
We finally made it to WEEK FOUR of our 22 Minute Hard Corps Challenge! Today's workout was RESISTANCE 3, and it was the first time that my Dad and I did this workout, and it was pretty challenging! Don't you hate it when something looks easy, but it really isn't! =)
When I was watching the Resistance 3 Workout video earlier, it didn't look that difficult, especially the MOUNTAIN SQUATS, but watching and DOING are two totally different things =)
At any rate, we got it done, and Day 1, Week Four is in the books!
Day 1, Week Four - 22 Minute Hard Corps Challenge | Resistance 3
My Dad and I could not believe how difficult the Mountain Squats were, so we just kept laughing for some reason, it was pretty hilarious, and although it doesn't look like we got a lot accomplished, our bodies can tell you otherwise =) Watch the second video below!
Watch our first mountain squat attempt, it was pretty ugly ha ha
I took a REST DAY on Saturday so that I could workout on Sunday with my father. Although it was a challenge to get my workouts in during Beachbody Coach Summit, I was still able to do so because of the duration of the workouts. 22 Minute Hard Corps workouts are only 22 minutes long, which means that I can get it in, get it done, and go on with the rest of the day.
My brother and I left the Coach Summit event right after the Celebration (last event of the jam-packed weekend) and we drove about 5-6 hours back home. We arrived early Sunday morning and I just crashed!! Coach Summit in Nashville was an amazing event, and I had the most memorable time with my team, but it was NON-STOP, so when I hit my bed on Sunday, I was out like a light!
When I finally woke up, my father was ready to workout, so what did we do, WE GOT IT DONE! =)
Day 7, Week Three - 22 Minute Hard Corps | Resistance 2
Check out my Dad's back and biceps, he's really loving this challenge, and I cannot tell you how proud I am of him =)

Today's workout (July 29th, Friday, this is a late post) was CARDIO 1 + CORE 1.
It was pretty challenging to do my workouts during the Coach Summit Weekend events, but my coach team kept me accountable and even worked out with me to make sure that I got it done, now isn't that just amazing =)
Nothing beats accountability from amazing people!
In between Coach Summit Workshops at the Music City Center, we found a somewhat secluded spot to do a quick 32 minute workout (Cardio 1 is 22 minutes, Core 1 is 10 minutes). We felt right at home because the people who were all passing us by were also Beachbody Coaches, so they knew the dealio!
I really encourage doing a Beachbody Challenge, or any fitness challenge with someone who has similar goals as you, and will not let you quit. This will be a life saver on your BAD DAYS when you are feeling lazy and don't want to workout. Thankfully, I have a team of coaches, as well as an amazing online accountability group to keep pushing me. Although I've been working out for years now, I still have my not-so-good days, and it does help to have people around you who won't let you quit. If you need that, feel free to message me, I'd love to help you, just like people have done for me!
Anyways, here's my accountability video, trucking right along!
Day 5, Week Three - 22 Minute Hard Corps | Cardio 1 + Core 1
Wanna start a health and fitness journey, or would like to turn you passion for fitness into a business? Message me here, I'd like to share some exciting things with you! =)
It was officially Day 1 of Coach Summit today and what a PRODUCTIVE day it was! Here I am posting this blog and it is 12 midnight (the next day) and I've been going strong for more than 15 hours, WHOA!!
So I don't want to bore you on all the things that I did today, but hey.....I did my 22 Minute Hard Corps workout (and so did my Dad), and that's what counts right =) Today's workout was RESISTANCE 2 and I was able to get it in between my Coach Summit activities. One of my fellow coaches on my team went with me to the Downtown Nashville YMCA, and that is where we got it done! =) Btw, the Downtown Nashville YMCA was an amazing facility complete with more than you can ask for, I could've spent all day in that place! If you are ever in Nashville, and you need a place to workout, I highly recommend checking it out. The day pass fee was $15 per person and well worth it.
Before the workout though, I met up with a few hundred people from our Coach Team and we did a group photo shoot at the Hilton Downtown Nashville. I've been going to Coach Summit since 2011, and I cannot tell you how exciting it is to see our team continue to grow in record numbers. From 5 coaches in 2010, to over 80,000 coaches today, it's just crazy!

Day 4, Week Three - 22 Minute Hard Corps | Resistance 2
And check this out guys! My father is also doing this 22 Minute Hard Corps Challenge with me, and although he was not in Nashville working out with me, he still got his workout in, and here's his accountability photos! Yeah, my Dad is pretty dang AWESOME! =)

I am currently in Nashville, TN for the Super Bowl of Beachbody Events....COACH SUMMIT. Today was Day 1 of 4 of Summit, and today was basically spent exploring the city and meeting up with my coach team. It's going to be a jam-packed week I tell ya!
Anyways, just wanted to post my two accountability videos from my Day 2 and 3, of Week 3. Today was cool because we ended up doing Cardio 2 + Core 1 (Day 3, Week 3 workout) right by the Cumberland River in Downtown Nashville overlooking Nissan Stadium. This is Boot Country ya'll, and lot's to do, but I will be staying committed, so stay tuned here! =)
Day 2, Week 3 - 22 Minute Hard Corps | Resistance 1
I would have to say that I am really loving this 22 Minute Hard Corps Challenge, especially doing it with my father! He's doing so awesome!!
Today we did the Cardio 1 and Core 1 Workout, and all I have to say is that my BEAR CRAWLS have definitely gotten a lot better (now if my Gorilla Crawls were half as good ha ha), and my Dad continues to KILL BURPEES like a boss =)
I'll be leaving for Nashville, TN late tomorrow night to attend Beachbody Coach Summit for the week, pretty excited to see my Coach Team =) Although I will be traveling, make no mistake, I will be staying committed to my challenge, I'll also be getting some of my coach family to do the workouts with me, should be fun!
Day 1, Week Three - 22 Minute Hard Corps | Cardio 1 + Core 1
So I just got back from South Carolina late last night from filming an obstacle race called the Bonefrog Challenge. As soon as I arrived home last night, I was BEAT UP, but I ended up still working late to upload all the video footage and viewing all the GoPro clips (4 GoPros) that I took during the race.
I woke up early this morning and immediately started video editing, and finally finished the race video. If you want to check it out, I will post the video below =) It was REALLY HOT in South Carolina (109 degrees), but it was definitely an epic event.
Because I filmed the Bonefrog Challenge all day on Saturday, I ended up taking a REST DAY from my 22 Minute Hard Corps Challenge, and decided to do Saturday's workout "today" (Sunday), which keeps me up to date on my workout schedule. Although I took a day off yesterday, it really wasn't a day off because I ran almost 10 miles filming through the Carolina Hilly Terrain of Winnsboro, SC. I definitely felt the burn in my legs today, so I may have to modify some moves tomorrow to ensure that I do not OVER-TRAIN and injure myself. I listen to my body a lot more these days, YUP, I learned my lesson =)
Day 7, Week Two - 22 Minute Hard Corps | Cardio 2 + Core 1
Do you want to watch my BoneFrog Challenge Video from South Carolina? Check it out below! If you want to learn more about my Cause-Related OCRTUBE Media Project - Click Here!
I took my 22 Minute Hard Corps Workout outdoors today! It's Day 5, Week Two of my challenge, and although my father and I were in two different states (we are doing this challenge together), we got it done!
I was traveling and on the road all day, but I found a high school outdoor track which was perfect to get my workout in. It was the first time that I did my 22 Minute Hard Corps workout at an outdoor environment, and I loved it! I'll be taking a rest day tomorrow to film the BoneFrog Challenge in Winnsboro (South Carolina), but I will be using my Sunday REST DAY as Saturday's original workout =).
Day 5, Week Two - 22 Minute Hard Corps Challenge | Resistance 2
DONE!!!! I really cannot wait until I get better at the CORE WORKOUTS, it's my downfall, I'm terrible at core workouts, but looking forward to the results in the coming weeks, stay tuned =)
Day 4, Week Two - 22 Minute Hard Corps | Cardio 1 + Special Ops Core
I'm going to keep this blog post really short because it's about 1:45am right now, and I need to hit the sack, just have to post my accountability post and video =)
Today (well yesterday) was Day 3, Week Two of my 22 Minute Hard Corps Challenge! We did the Resistance 1 Workout today, but the BEST PART was that my 71 year old Dad did 3 STRICT PULL UPS tonight. He hasn't been able to do a pull up in I don't know how many years! This 22 Minute Hard Corps Challenge is really doing amazing things for him, and I cannot wait to see how he feels at the end of the 60 Day Challenge. Please feel free to continue following my accountability posts here, and if you need some health and fitness MOTIVATION, please do not hesitate to contact me here, I'd love to help you reach your goals!
From mountain bike shopping, to eating PHO, to watching movies with family, to coach conference calls, and working out....it was a pretty busy day today! =)
Day 3, Week Two - 22 Minute Hard Corps Challenge, Resistance 1
I had to check out what this Pokemon Go game was all about, so before my workout today, I went to a couple local parks in Downtown Pensacola, as well as Pensacola Beach to play the game. Along the way, I met some diehard fans who were playing as well.
I am definitely NOT considered a GAMER, but I do like the idea of this particular game getting people out of the house and off the couch. Being a Beachbody Coach, it's something that I enjoy seeing, "people being more active". I'm looking forward to seeing some creative workouts coming out of this phenomenon.
After my little Pokemon Adventure, I went back home to do my 22 Minute Hard Corps Workout with my father. It's Day 2, Week 2 of our challenge, and we did the Cardio 2 along with the Special Ops Core Workout, and it was pretty tough doing it for the very first time. I'm excited to see some improvements in the coming weeks!
Day 2, Week Two - 22 Minute Hard Corps | Cardio 2 + Special Ops Core
It's Day 1, Week Two of my 22 Minute Hard Corps Challenge!!! Today, my father and I did a new workout which was Resistance 2, what a great workout! It took me a couple rounds to get into the rhythm of doing the chin up crunches, but I'm excited to see my gains on this exercise alone.
There are a lot of reps in the beginning of this workout, and by the time you get to the end, you'll be glad that the workout is only 22 minutes =), I know that I was!!
I felt very strong today, and I am looking forward to killing it the rest of the week, just wanted to say thank you so much for following my journey, and if you need any fitness motivation, feel free to message me here, I'd be happy to be your Free Personal Coach!
Sorry for the LATE POST =(, but I got a bit lazy yesterday since yesterday was my REST DAY from my 22 Minute Hard Corps Challenge =) I didn't completely rest all day though, my brother Fermin invited me to go for a 10 mile mountain bike ride followed by a 5K trail run at the UWF Trails in Pensacola, FL, couldn't turn that down! But boy, it was really HOT!!
I did take it easy though and didn't do any fast riding (tried not too) or running, and then I ended my day with a Netlix and Chill Marathon =)
WHOA!!! Week 1 is done =) I am really enjoying this challenge, not only because I am doing this with my father, but the fact that the workouts are only 22 minutes, and you still get a kick aZZ workout!
What I has gotten stronger since I started the challenge this past Monday are my legs, and my pull ups strength, I was able to finish all reps without stopping, so I was happy with that =)
My father and I had a pretty busy day, so we were not able to workout until 10:30pm (last night), but we got it done! Check out my quick video, and message me here if you need a little fitness motivation, I'd love to help out!
Day 6, Week One - 22 Minute Hard Corps | Resistance 1
This is going to be a really short post since I did my 22 Minute Hard Corps workout late in the evening and I had to edit this video (below) and post this blog =). But today's workout was Cardio 2, which my father and I haven't done before, so it was pretty cool to be able to do a new workout this week. Cardio 2 was of course followed by Core 1 which I can honestly say that I've gotten slightly better, but I could definitely use more work on some of the movements.
I do have one more thing to say about the 22 Minute Hard Corps Cardio 2 workout....those GORILLA CRAWLS killed me! I mean they look so easy when people are doing it, but when you actually do them yourself, especially with the amount of reps plus the other exercises before that, OH MY GOODNESS, my legs were just burning! My dad, mind you he is 71 years old, he kicked my butt during the last round, check out the video! I just got SERVED =)
Day 5, Week One - 22 Minute Hard Corps | Cardio 2 + Core 1
Need fitness motivation? Feel free to message me here, I'd love to assist you!
TODAY was Day 4, Week One of my 22 Minute Hard Corps Challenge and my father and I did the Resistance 1 Workout. I can definitely feel myself getting back into the game, and I also asked my Dad how he felt today, and he told me that he is not as sore, and see's better improvement on his strength just from 4 days into the challenge.
I actually prefer resistance workouts over cardio-based workouts, but I feel that my cardio is improving as well, especially because I've been incorporating some mountain biking into the mix.
